We loved the look of this bench and thought it was high quality. I was hesitant to purchase based on others reviews, but took a chance. Listen to the reviews!! This bench was hardly ever sat on, mostly decoration. It randomly cracked all the way through. Such a waste of money, hoping Target makes this right!

I love the bench but it came scuffed up with black markings everywhere (did not come off when cleaned) and there was a 3 inch spot of discoloration like it had been water damaged. There was no way I was going to be able to fit it in my car and they wanted me to take back to target or post office to return it — I live 30 minutes away from the nearest target.

Thought I might be coming here to warn people, but it seems I'm very late to the party. My bench split in the middle of the grain (not at a joint) in two places. Unfortunately this makes a repair very difficult. Shame they're using such poor quality materials. Looks great out of the box, feels great out of the box, but anything more than a light breeze over it for a few months and it'll break.

This bench has been sitting in my entryway for just over a year. No one ever sits on it- it’s more for decoration. I did like the way it looks. I noticed today there is a huge crack running all the way through the bench. No idea what would have caused this- it must be poorly manufactured.

The bench is a nice color, shape, and size. However, it broke after six months with limited use. Neither my husband nor I are overweight but still broke it after sitting on it maybe 20 times total. Last week, my husband was sitting on it, and we heard a crack - then looked down, and the bottom brace was on the floor. There are two tiny nails holding the whole bottom part together. See pictures.
