The Pixie Cruiser is a remote control car that is loved by kids for its whimsical design, bright colors, and easy-to-use controls. It offers good speed and can be used both indoors and outdoors. However, some guests mentioned that the outer shell is made of thin plastic, which raises concerns about its durability. The car also requires a lot of batteries, which are not rechargeable and tend to run out quickly.

Beautiful
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the Pixie Cruiser is whimsical and eye-catching, which immediately caught my child's attention. The inclusion of a remote control is a fun way to engage kids in interactive play.

Great speed and fun for young and old
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sharper Image Pixie Cruiser Pink and Purple Remote Control Car from Influenster, and my daughter had a blast playing with it. Here are some of my thoughts on this RC car: 1. Stylish Design: The pink and purple color combination and sleek design make this RC car visually appealing. 2. Easy to Control: The remote control is straightforward to use, even for beginners. It offers precise control over the car's movements. 3. Good Speed: The Pixie Cruiser has a decent speed for indoor play, making it suitable for racing or maneuvering through obstacles. Overall, the Sharper Image Pixie Cruiser RC car is a fun and stylish choice, especially for those who appreciate its unique design. It's perfect for indoor play and offers a smooth and enjoyable remote control experience. While it has a few minor drawbacks, the pros outweigh the cons, making it a great addition to any RC car enthusiast's collection

Great for kids!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start by saying… YES! An RC car that’s geared towards girlier colors and interests! Love that. Also love that this can be used indoors or outdoors. We put this thing to the test. Up steep ramps and down them, ramped my daughter’s ankles quite a few times, and chased the cars for hours. It was really given a thorough testing, let me tell you. The controller- feels a little cheap. It’s very lightweight and has two joysticks in them but on goes forward and reverse. The other goes left to right. The front wheels turn only. And the outer body is a flimsy plastic shell that’s shaped like the car, rather than having an actual body. Which is great in terms of speed and not slowing it down but bad in terms of lasting and durability with animals and children in general. 🤪 It did come with the batteries which I love- but the instructions state 45 mins of play time and it takes quite a lot of batteries for that. It was like 6-8 AA that go in the bottom of the car compartment and then a 9Volt goes on the remote. Thats expensive for 45 mins of play. Now I will say we surpassed that time frame and still had juice in our batteries to continue playing but I was done 🤣 so that might tell ya something. The compartment under the car was weird in the fact that it took me two different sizes of tiny screwdriver to get open…. But that’s nothing more than an inconvenience when you have kids excited to play. There was also an on off switch on the cars underbody to power on/off. Which is great cause the remote doesn’t have one. When the car is on the remote will pair or link to it but you finish playing and turn that switch off under the car and it’ll put the remote into sleep mode. Green light blinking means battery is on but not connected to car. Solid green light means it’s connected. Simple enough. There’s also one little white toggle like spot under the car- if the car starts to pull one direction or the other while driving in a straight line then you nudge that switch to realign the cars “brain” if you will 😅 Verdict is in and we love it. It’s fun. It’s fast, it’s addicting to play with even as an adult. Teaches hand eye coordination with having to learn to control and move without crashing… much like a video game but keeps them off electronics or gets them up and active while they do it. Not sure how well it works on super rough gravel yet or loose gravel as we don’t have any to test it out on but will update as soon as we try it out somewhere! For now… 20/10 recommend! You need this for your kids, cats, dogs, etc! We have all had a blast as a whole family with this thing!

Cheap plastic shell of a car
The outer shell of the car is plastic. (Breakable bendable plastic ) can easily be broken . Stepped on and cracked . Extremely disappointed because I bought this as my daughters first RC car to play with and it’s a piece of cheap trash . I bought my son an RC Batman car for $15 cheaper and it’s so much better quality. Not buying sharper image again .

Cute & fun, but flawed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were excited to play with thos RC beetle! I put batteries in both the car & remote. It drove well and was easy to control. However, the car is made of very flimsy plastic. The remote has no off button, so the batteries just keep going until they run out. Batteries aren't exactly cheap, so we won't be playing with this much.

Cute but slow and wont go in the grass
Don’t bother. We got our daughter one and it was a waste of money and is going back to the store. It’s slow! My son got one that was a similar price range (monster jam megaladon) and it goes 3x a fast. This one won’t go in the grass and gets stuck on the tiniest things. Also it runs on 6 AA batteries so you know you’ll spend a ton replacing them. The top is a plastic-y shell that’s nice because it won’t break while the actual base is sturdy. It just needs more power. It might be ok for a little girl but don’t buy it for an older girl or if you’re planning to play with other RCs

Adorable RC car!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This remote control Pixie Cruiser is so adorable and so much fun! It is simple to use and battery operated. The bright pink colors and cute details make it unqiue from typical RC cars and my daughter was so happy with it. She had a blast crashing it around the house and making race courses for it in the driveway. It gets quite a bit of speed and is pretty durable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cute RC car for the whole family to enjoy!

Rc car
Gets a two because it is super cute, but not worth buying, goes through batteries very quickly, will spend more on batteries than it is worth.

Super fun!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my daughter who is always playing with my son's remote control cars and has wanted one of her own for a long time! This is such a fun cruiser! It's not only cute, but it does everything you want out of a remote controlled car. It picks up good speed and handles fairly well. She's happy with it and so am I!

Super cute little beetle
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great looking little girly beetle, the remote is finicky and I need to remove batteries to shut off but I don't mind because it's really cute, it's for a 3 year old and she loves it and it's a great speed for her. I love the looks of it and so does my grandaughter.

Cute girly car!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is such a cute, girly looking car which is hard to find these days! My 6 year old daughter was so excited to use this cruiser. It comes with all the batteries you need to use it right away. The controller took a while for my daughter to get used to, but once she got the hang of it she had it going like a pro. It works best on asphalt and smooth surfaces. We have a rock drive way and it works, but it struggles quite a bit and doesn't go as fast. My daughter uses it in the house and in our basement where we have open space. This cruiser gets some good speed and is quite tough. It has been flipped, crashed, and dropped and it's still holding up. I like how it's light enough for my daughter to pick it up when it needs to be moved. The only downside to this car is that it goes through the batteries quick (my daughter has been playing with it nonstop), so I would suggest using rechargeable batteries. Overall we are very pleased with this product and would highly recommend!
