I’ve been using shea moisture green bar body soap for 10 years. The formula has changed and now the green bar body soap has a perfume smell that is awful. Please reinstate the old original formula!

Texture Creamy and smooth, lathers nicely without being too foamy. It feels nourishing rather than harsh. Effectiveness Cleanses well while leaving skin soft and hydrated. Works especially well for dry skin, thanks to the coconut oil. No tight or stripped feeling after rinsing. Packaging The bottle is sturdy and easy to use, though the cap can get a little slippery in the shower. The design has the natural, earthy SheaMoisture look. Value For an 18 oz bottle, it’s a generous amount and lasts a long time since a little goes a long way. Feels like a good investment compared to other body washes in the same category.

It took me years to find a body wash that didn’t dry out my skin or cause breakouts. The original version Shea Moisture 100% virgin coconut oil was perfect, and I got my family members hooked on it. We used it all up so we reluctantly tried this new formulation. It IS moisturizing however the fragrance is just weird and it causes breakouts. I am sure that it would be good for people without chemical sensitivities but we can’t use it anymore. Very disappointed.

Added bonus this smells soooooo good and it’s such a creamy lather that I know I’m getting out of the shower fully moisturized!
