I was excited to get this product, but once I used it I had to take another shower and wash it off. The scent was overwhelming. Something maybe my grandma might use. Went in the trash.

It’s definitely moisturizing and feels nice on my skin. However, I personally strongly dislike the smell. It barely smells like coconut at all, and instead has a more grassy smell.

It’s labeled as virgin coconut oil which is misleading because coconut oil is one of the last ingredients which mean the product contains just a minimal amount of coconut oil. It’s a good oil to apply after a bath in the winter season. It has a light scent which again I would think from reading the label it would be all coconut oil with no other ingredients.

This body oil SMELLS AMAZING! That alone is enough for me to use it but other than that I appreciate the ingredients that Shea Moisture uses. Usually I am sensitive to fragrances, but if you Google it you will see that they don’t use anything synthetic to fragrance their products. My husband and I used this as massage oil. And I also use it when I get out of the shower if my skin is feeling extra dry and it absorbs right in.

This coconut oil has a much lighter smell so I could easily use it all over the body and not feel like I am a walk-in perfume store. Hydrates pretty good. Would definitely buy it again.
