I know its a very small difference, but they did it again. It was 10.5 ounces and now it's 10.1 ounces. STOP MAKING IT SMALLER.

Messy
No matter how careful I am, the outside of the tub is just always covered in oil. I feel like it's a flaw in the design of the container. Because how can just taking the lid off and putting the lid back on cause the product to leak so much that the outside of it to get so oily? This alone makes me never want to use it ever again.

Does not smell like coconut at all
I opened it as soon as it arrived, could not wait to try it out. The smell turned my stomach. It smells like 200 year old parmesan cheese. There is no way I will put this on my skin or hair. If this is 100% coconut oil, it should smell like pure coconut. I missed the review stating that it smelled like blue cheese. They are absolutely right.

Good for dandruff!!

I massaged my scalp and used a fine brush to get the product on my scalp. I left the product on me for most of the day (you might want to do this at home because the scent is strong). Ounces changed to less?
Literally bought the Shea moisture 100% extra-virgin coconut oil maybe like a month ago at target, the jar was bigger and it’s 14.5 ounces. I ran out of it. so I went back to target to buy a NEW one and it definitely looks smaller. I looked at the ounces and it’s 10.5 ounces. It cost more now, but it looks like they took coconut ounces of the jar. It will make sense more, if it’s the same ounces of coconut, and then raise the price of it…. So now get less pay more? Also, the smell and texture was different🙃

Love you this coconut oil all over. It works really good as a first cleanse to remove makeup. Also like using it after getting out of the shower. It melts super easy and absorbs into the skin.

Smelled terrible
I waited a week or so before using this. When I opened it I immediately applied it to my skin after a shower and noticed a funky smell. When I realized it was the oil I had to rewash my hands and the places I’d applied it. I also had to wipe down my vanity that it has been sitting on. I wish I had thought to return it and get a refund, but sadly I just immediately double bagged it and threw it in the trash. Maybe it had been sitting on the shelf too long. Either way, I won’t buy it again.

This product and brand is a staple in our household. Growing up using coconut oil for everything and doing the same as an adult. So happy there is now a convenient container and organic product! Good to use for dry skin, normal body moisturizer, minor eczema (babies and adults alike), keeping eczema at bay, hair, face, nails, etc. Able to use for any age (babies too!) or any skin type. Must get in larger jar if the whole family uses as it goes quickly. Just note, when cold, oil solidifies. If not, the oil becomes a liquid. Also careful when using a lot as it may stain some material (for example pillow cases and sheets). We use this so much I wish they created a travel/portable version to keep in diaper bags, car, purse, luggage, etc!
