One of the thread inserts was bad. I needed to run a 5/16-18nc tap thru it. Lucky I had a tap or I would have not been able to put the chair together.

Chair is comfortable and looks great but the legs are not close to being level. Assy time was about a hour by myself.

We love the style of the stools. Quality of wood is not the best. We stools cracked when my husband was putting them together. He has woodworking experience and feels that should not have happened.

Added two chairs of the same model to our two existing chairs and assembled them myself. Check those that are assembled on site for you. I found a stripped bolt holding the seat to the back chair rail on one of the two original chairs that had never been tightened.
