Cannot stand it
Usually, if I really dislike something, my spouse only moderately dislikes it, because I'm a lot more sensitive and picky about stuff. But not this time. We both hate it. Bitter bits of tomato peel are the first thing, but generally, it just kind of tastes like jarred sauce from when I was a kid, which is not a good thing. It's so bad, I'm not trying any of their sauces again. Instead, I'll just hunt down some Victoria's White Linen, or maybe save my pennies and spring for Rao's. Also, it's hard to rate something for "value" when you throw half of it away.

Absolutely Amazing!
Reading other reviews it sounds like due to the more small batch style of processing there’s been some bad batches. But I have not gotten a bad jar yet. This is the best jarred marinara I’ve had. Not acidic, super fresh tasting, perfect consistency with a few small chunks of tomato. The flavor is out of this world. Really does taste worlds better than your basic cheap marinara!

This was very disappointing given the cost. It had a very grassy/leafy taste to it and my kids immediately refused to eat the spaghetti & I didn't enjoy it either. I bought 2 jars but will be returning there other one. For reference they love the Newman's marinara but target doesn't seem to stock it anymore at the one near us

Comparable to RAO's, for less money
I typically buy Rao’s brand sauce, because it tastes great and is lower in carbohydrates. I tried the signature Marinara from Good & Gather and it checks the same boxes, all while being $3 less per jar.

Half and insect found in sauce.
After we started eating I made a little bowl for my daughter and as I was stirring found half the body of some sort of insect. Reached out to target and after 2 days only sent me $5 gift card. Don’t care about the money but they didn’t seem to care and brushed it off. Never found bugs in my food and I was very put off also by the way it was handled. I never write reviews but this is needed.
