So, you know how you hang lights from your roof, whether it be directly on the shingles or from the gutters? Well, I am sure these could work if you are patient enough and don't want to hang them from the shingles. Whoever discontinued the old and flimsy pop apart - pop together type made a poor decision. Sure, I would break 1/5th of all of the old clips, but at least I would be able to finish the job. After figuring out how I might be able to make this product work, I spent a deal of time on the roof and got absolutely nowhere. This is a very poorly designed and executed product, I do not recommend to anyone.
