Singer S0700 Air Thread Serger Overlocker

Having sewn off and on for most my life, I choose this easy to user serger as it is instrumental in sewing more knit clothes for my grandchildren and me! The directions (both written and video) are easy to follow. Singer provides instructions from the simplest use to more complex uses. It is a great addition to my sewing tools.

I purchased this machine before I even fully understood the purpose of a serger, and it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. It exceeds all expectations and has proven to be absolutely perfect. I am truly grateful for having acquired it, as it has significantly enhanced my learning experience. The finishing on my products is now exceptionally professional, and I am continually impressed by its performance.

I bought this serger a week ago on sale. Unfortunately needle treader doesnt work. Returning it.

This serger is absolutely one of the best I have ever had. I have had a few, and threading them all was a step I would dread each time I used them. Granted, I did use tie-on method when I would swap thread, but eventually one must re-thread for other reasons. I actually have another three thread serger I purposely got in order to just keep on a fine rolled hem setting (with minimal adjustments, of course, for fabric and threads!) because I absolutely hated trying to make adjustments to the other serger I had. I finally gave up with that one, and longed for the air-driven threaded models. I got this model and am so delighted that I did. It works like a dream, it is easy to operate, has a great manual with plenty of illustrations if you like to learn through pictures. If you have had it with trying to thread your serger and have given up-definitely get this model. It has all the great bells and whistles of more (lots more!!) expensive lines and models, at a totally reasonable price! Love it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an impressive serger. It comes with everything you need except for the thread. I was happy to see that when I unboxed it, there are some pre-strung threads in the machine so that you can just tie your thread to the old thread and then just pull them through. Keep your instruction manual close. It has lots of great pictures to show you step by step how to thread this thing when you break a thread until you get it figured out. There’s also a great section in there on how to adjust your tension and needle position for different stitches. What a great upgrade from the 20+ year old serger I last used!

As a beginner seamstress I’m still learning everyday, this machine has taking my sewing skills up several levels! It provides professional stitches with a breeze. The air threading technology is TOP NOTCH!! I’ve never had a serger that would thread this easy. Holy cow! Blade stays sharp, and provides clean cuts every time. I can’t recommend this machine enough. The quality is superior and it sews sooo smoothly.

Im sure it can do dozens of other things, but so far thats all ive used it for. I LOVE the air threader. I would reccomend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for me and my daughter she wanted to learn how to sew this was perfect this is a very nice size and super easy to set and put the stuff on and the instructions was very detailed and clear once set up we made some very beautiful things. This is great for making clothes,blankets,and more I love it

It was so easy to set up, threading was already in place so tying my threads together and pulling through was so easy, voila! Ready to serge! Fabrics glide through with ease. I’m extremely impressed with my new serger.
