SKLZ Solo Assist Basketball Trainer - Black

I purchased this item for 2 day a week practice use. It was to keep things fresh for beginning/intermediate players. I personally used it for a few hours and it has been holding up well. The material is good quality and sturdy. Hope the product will withstand time.

The concept is great the fabrication is cheap! In my opinion all of the plastic parts should be metal. Ideally the tee connector should be metal with a cotter pin that goes through the pipe to hold the frame even sturdier. However if you’d like to continue to use plastic have the tee connectors go over the pipe and utilize a cotter pin to hold the pipe and frame in place. This would make the frame stronger and allow the user to replace a missing part without having to contact the company. The net is to small and not strong enough for all of the tension applied to it. Either keep the net the same size and beef up the material making it more durable at the tension or make the net slightly larger. I would also say the purchaser should be able to purchase a replacement net or other parts without having to purchase an entirely new solo assist. Having replacement parts increases the longevity of the product! Fix these issues and the product would be five stars without a doubt!

I have seen other ball return units but this one seems better constructed. A convenient feature is that it can be folded after use to save space, others do not have this feature. The net takes some force to apply, I think you need 2 people to get it on. Otherwise it is easy to assemble. Highly recommended basketball trainer.
