This pineapple is second class or D greade fruit. It is from the Phillipines and apparently they cut cost by selling less than a prime product. Worth paying a little more for a name brand. Market Panty is usually pretty good stuff but this is NOT.

Buy only if you like eating pineapple CORE
As others have stated Target brand sliced pineapple is ridiculously bland. There is a hint of pineapple taste but the can is predominantly filled with what can only be described as the "offcuts" from other brands. What you get are slices of pineapple core with a little actual fruit around the edges. Because of the predominance of core, I can only imagine this is not a quality control issue but a way for Target to make money from an inferior product, in other words, what other brands throw away, Do better, Target! You can afford to.

Damaged My Pantry Order
I ordered 11 My Pantry items, and each can arrived with some type of damage. The box is in great condition, so they cannot blame shipping. This was my first and last order of My Pantry items. (The can on top is of the fruit cocktail noted in my other review.) I take public transportation and will not be able to return these items. So disappointed!
