First of all, how cool does this candle look? It’s almost too cute to burn. The candle skull resembles a pirate type skeleton head. I’m interested to see once it starts burning how it lights up. The jar the it comes is really sturdy.

This candle is so adorable I love all the details on the skull. You can see like the teeth and the cracks in the skull in good detail. The is thick and heavy. The lid suctions in very well. The light adds a nice touch to it. A beautiful decorative piece.
Spooky and fun

For most families, this spooky little artifact probably lends itself more to Halloween season. But I suppose our fam is a bit more morbid. Yeah, we’re good with the dark and dreary motif year-round. This little skull candle is both charming and menacing, and that describes our household pretty well. I worry that over time, the flame could blemish the glass with soot, but for now it’s looking great. Happily recommended, particularly if your family has a high tolerance for the macabre.
Interesting candle

This novelty Halloween skull candle is quite unique. It lights like a regular candle, but is connected to an LED light that changes color. It is unlike anything I have ever seen before. I think it looks cool in its glass jar with lid, but it really isn't my style (even for Halloween). We have a cat and don't light very many candles anyway. I think I would like it better if it was just battery-operated, and not also a candle. It only lights up when the candle is lit.
Well done skull in a jar, but LED and candle logistics are problematic.

This was a great concept - skull, LED, jar, candle - what's not to like - but when I realized that the LED was dependent on the candle being lit, and thought more about a candle being a 'consumable" that will burn itself out, I was then disappointed. Skully is super cool as is - if I burn him, I lose him. if I don't burn him, the LED light doesn't come on... or does it? I did figure out that the LED "switch" is a light sensor and I was able to activate it with my phone flashlight, so I am hoping when I put him on the mantle for Halloween I can either rig it so one of my string lights sits right above the sensor to turn on the LED, or put a tea light of some kind on the underside of his lid so I can get the LED effect without burning him up. I do like the size of this - not too huge and overwhelming. The glass jar is quite solid - doesn't feel fragile.
