This snake candle is moreso for decoration verses lighting and burning because it’s smell-less and because when lit, I believe it would make a mess and melt on the counter. It is not your average candle – it’s definitely a conversation piece. The size is great, it is not too big, but still noticeable enough to display on a shelf. I did not notice a scent, which is totally fine because I honestly don’t think we’ll burn it – it’s just too cool looking. The detail is nice and it feels solid and well-made. We try not to use any toys or things that they would want to play with since that would defeat the purpose of having them focus. I think the design is great and the size is perfect for the price. It is made of a paraffin wax and features one wick. It is unscented. I would use this as a decor candle around my home such as on a shelf in my sons bedroom, in a game room, etc to add a fun, quirky twist to the space.
