I have finally found my pillow. Thank goodness for Pillow Gal. I am a side sleeper with a C-PAP machine. Despite recommendations from sleep apnea sites, I longed for a super soft pillow that I could sink my head into at night. My head sinks into this treasure of heavenly softness, and I immediately wonder why I ever left my bed in the first place. I must include that I do put a memory foam pillow underneath so that my neck is supported, because this pillow offers NO support whatsoever. It is extremely well-made and it comes with a soft (albeit hideously colored) cover. I hate taking time to sleep. But this pillow beckons me every night and I look forward to bedtime. This pillow is, as they say, a game changer.

I love that it’s over stuffed I love that it comes with a protective pillowcase and it’s perfect for a side sleeper looking for the right amount of support and comfort in this Pillow nails it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our first pillows 5 years ago, we were in love, searched and searched for the right pillows and were SO thrilled we found "The One". Fast forward to Nov. 2025. Reordered the exact same ones, side sleeper etc. Pillow cover fabric is different and not in a good way, feels like plastic or something, not as full as before and my lord do our necks hurt. VERY disappointed for the price point we paid and unable to use.

We tried several other name brands but they are no where near as comfortable Pillow Guy. We are so glad that you listed the pillow guy name on the old pillow tag or we would not have had a clue where these pillows came from. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pillow is described as soft but it’s really not that soft. It’s definitely low profile, but not soft enough for a side or stomach sleeper (which I am).

I’ve been using this pillow for a while. and it’s surprisingly comfortable. It’s soft but still supportive enough to keep my neck from getting sore. I have been having better sleep quality.

This pillow is soft and comfortable whether you are a back or side sleeper or even prefer to sleep on your stomach. I was looking for pillows that are hypoallergenic as I feel it does make a difference when it comes to dust bunnies. I love that they are water resistant and include a removable pillow protector and it is machine washable/dryable. So many other brands claim to be down alternative but aren't as soft or as supportive as a real down pillow and I think this comes the closest to the real deal.

This pillow is amazing, just as described. Im not getting a full night's of sleep with no more tossing and turning trying to get comfortable. I don't wake with a stiff neck and muscles aches in my neck. My husband has also been trying to take it from me. I will be purchasing more. There is also no weird smells open opening the package, so that's another huge plus for me.

The PG Down Alternative Pillow surprised me with how well it supports my neck—I wake up without any stiffness. It’s soft but holds its shape better than I expected.

This alternative down pillow is made of a soft fabric and seems to be good quality. It stays fairly cool throughout the night without having to turn it over. It offers decent support and so far I have not woken up with the dreaded stiff neck. I have been waking up feeling rested and refreshed.

I didn’t want a down alternative pillow to be extremely flat, and this promised that. It is the right mixture of softness and firmness. It holds its shape well too.
