It removes soap scum, hard water stains, limescale, grease, grime, and food stains, and is safe to use on stainless steel, chrome, granite, porcelain, ceramic, plastic laminate, and glass-top stoves. Caution: Eye irritant. Do not get in eyes. Contains calcium carbonate and detergent. First Aid: Eyes—Flush with water for 15 minutes. If Swallowed—drink a glassful of water. Call physician. Soft scrub is so good at cleaning! It lives up to its name Soft Scrub! I can clean my shower and tub , my stainless steel sink and it gets them throughly clean without scratching the surfaces. It has a very good prices and let’s not forget how nice it smells! My favorite is the lemon scent. Makes everything look and smell clean.

The key to using this is to NOT use too much. Wet your sponge or cloth first then move in circular motions. I like this because it’s not gritty. Not harsh. Doesn’t smell crazy strong and gets the job done. I do let it sit a bit on harsh stains, like hair color/dye on the sink.

I have been using Soft Scrub for years, did you lightweight your closure? I bought a new 36oz bottle and the hinge on the closure broke clear off the first time I used it. I'm really irritated. You need to fix the closure.
