The bottoms run really small but the top runs really big. I may be a little heavier on the bottom but the large bottoms fit pretty well, I tried on the mediums and they were too tight for my comfort. But the large top was just huge on me. If you're short and don't have the biggest chest you're going to be swimming in the large. I even tried the medium top on and it still is too big, it's made for taller women. I could pull up the straps and kind of sew them to make it shorter and that would work a little better. since I bought these on sale and it was only $10 for the set at the time, I may just keep both for 20 bucks and use the medium top and sew it shorter, and use the large bottoms. I guess maybe I'll just give the large top that's way too big for me to one of my friends or something lol. I do feel like the bottoms are fairly flattering, I just had to get the larger size. which hurts your ego a little bit lol. But like I said I may just keep it since it was $10 and use the large bottoms and I have other bathing suit tops that I already own that I can just pair with it. If you are taller and have a bigger chest you may not have an issue though.
