A: There are 3 pieces to put together. You simply ‘unfold’ it, put in the bottom plank and bippity bobbity boo, you have a lovely foot-of-the-bed bench.

Q: It looks like the folding sides are made out of cardboard. Can it really hold up to 660 pounds? Did you find it was sturdy?

A: I think it is very sturdy, and there is no problem for two adults in my family to sit on it. After comparing several, I finally chose this one, and it did not disappoint me.
submitted byLI - 1 year agoA: It neither feels nor looks like cardboard and my husband; it’s sturdy. My husband and I together don’t weigh 660 pounds so I can’t speak to exactly how much it’ll hold. I can say that it will hold at least 400 pounds.

We bought this ‘bench’ primarily for our older kitty as an easy step-up to our bed. But after getting it, it’s much nicer in person than it appears online. It’s sturdy and the fabric makes it look expensive ~ plus we now have added storage. It does come unassembled but my husband spent less than two minutes to get it together. Target, once again, has quality merchandise at fabulous prices!
