Sonic the Hedgehog Feature Giant Mecha Sonic vs Sonic Exclusive

Should have read the reviews. Assumed the robot would make noise or do something. My 5 yr old picked it out in store. He still enjoys it but makes his own sound effects.

It has buttons that look like it should pop wheels out on the bottom, but they don't stay out. Directions are worthless. Tried to watch YouTube collectors for more info but it appears that it is pointless and does nothing. It is a $30 nothing toy that looks like it should do something....

My 5 year old had birthday money and he picked this out so excited… such a silly toy… you think it would do SOMETHING. I had to explain it doesn’t do anything it’s just weirdly heavy for no reason

Wish my kid didn’t open it on christmas so i could exchange it for something actually useful. Also kinda dangerous with the pointy and hard hedgehog mullet.

All it does is light up. It doesn’t talk or move

As far as old fashioned imaginative play goes it’s a great toy but for this particular toy. It would have been better if the metal Sonic actually talked, moved and or at least had some action sounds. All it does is light up and it’s not even that bright.

I thought it would be smaller but it's actually pretty good decent size. It doesn't do much other than light up but still a pretty cool toy to have specially since they don't make alot of these or are hard to find.

This is on my grandson’s,Christmas list.

I’m usually not the one to get my hands on any of the Jakks Pacific Sonic Figures (Either because the ones I want are out of stock or the quality on them isn’t the best). However, I was surprised to see a new version of Mecha Sonic be released. Thinking it wouldn’t be much, except be larger in scale than the previous releases, I was shocked to see some of the cool features added to the figure; Glowing eyes/Jet pack, and roller skates. I felt like a kid on Christmas after playing around with the figure. If you ask me, whoever pitched the idea for this version of the Mecha Sonic figure deserves a raise. In conclusion, I see this figure being a wonderful gift for old and new Sonic fans to have in their collections. Here’s to hoping we see a Mecha Sonic Mark II (My favorite version of Mecha/Metal Sonic from Sonic 3 & Knuckles; The best video game ever made) with the same treatment :D.

The Giant Mecha Sonic vs. Sonic set is an all-around winner! The Mecha Sonic not only looks fantastic, but is durable and has solid articulation, making it a great choice for kids and collectors! The light-up eye/jet pack is a fun touch, but hinders posability in the head, allowing for it to only move very slightly. Including a standard 2.5" Sonic figure won't excite longtime collectors who probably have a drawer full of them at this point, but will definitely be a welcome addition to anyone new to this line! Highly recommend this one!
