Sony Alpha 7R V Full-Frame Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera Body

my camera is just out of the box and the sensor and shutter inside are messed up and crooked. i have tried calling contact support as their site states they’re open on saturday. continuously no response. this was my first sony purchase and i don’t plan to purchase again if this is how support will be.

I knew it was great, but this is better! I've been shooting for a year, but I keep finding new valuable features and am amazed at how intelligently everything is thought out. Ergonomically, it is very comfortable in the hands and when operating.

The picture quality is insane! Taking a leap onto this camera wasn't expected as I had a previously decent camera. But I am so glad that I took that leap. I am astounded and would highly recommend.

I’ve been after this lovely camera for over a year and finally got it. So chuffed I’ve been a Sony user for about 12 years now and absolutely adore Sony cameras especially the A7R V with all its bells and whistles so glad I make this purchase.

The focusing power with my Sony necked is amazing. Only touched the surface of configuring for my preferences,

I bought this camera to get into automotive photography. It pretty much does everything I want it too and because I can get good deals on Sigma lenses, it made this a no brainer. I would highly recommend this camera for stills photography and maybe less so for professional video.

More user friendly upgrades. Delivers on image quality

So happy with this purchase. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and I can't quite understand how I've been able to shoot without it before. It's like doing photography with a cheat code. Incredible camera. I haven't experienced the lack of software updates yet, but that is something I hear Sony should improve...

Bought to upgrade my A7R 2. Three things stand out as immensely improved: resolution, which is noticeable and larger enlargements are possible; image stabilisation - hand held to 1/4 sec with standard lens is feasible; focus and tracking which are generationally different.

I bought this camera about a month ago mainly for landscapes. It certainly delivers with excellent resolution and colour. Not tried at high ISO so far as all my landscapes are at ISO50 or 100 so not sure about noise.

Good for pixels and focus. Not great for noise and video. imo

I supplemented my a7IV with the a7RV. This is quickly becoming my default Wildlife body.

The improvements over the a7iv are just huge and I love the new flip out screen, autofocus is outstanding and the metering is up a level easily.

Only had this for a month and there are so many features that it will take time to find them all. I personally don't like linking to a mobile App or using blue tooth, but that may change in time. Good feel especially with a vertical grip, rotating buttons for speed and aperature settings are great.

I bought the camera body about a month ago, generally happy with it, takes sharp images with the 100-400 GM lens attached and I love the fact that it is very customisable so I have the bin button set for crop, so I can easily go into APS-C mode quickly but still get 26 megapixel photos which is the main reason for me getting the camera it’s 61 megapixel sensor, since 99% of my photography is wildlife. Still feel that the bird eye tracking is not as good as my Canon R6 ii however, it’s good as long as the bird is in clear view, but in my opinion if it’s in undergrowth then the A7Rv eye tracking struggles to find the bird and in most cases I have to use spot focus with no tracking, as I say however Sony are very good with button allocation so I can quite easily do this with two button back focus. The other difficulty I find is the menu to allocate focus operation to a button, it is very detailed menu and you can do allot with it, however it is very overwhelming the amount you can do in the menu and at times not easy to get the camera to do what you want, I feel again that although the Canon bodies maybe do not do as much as Sony this makes them easier to set up and configure. But overall I’m very pleased with my A7Rv and would recommend it.

I bought the a7R5 camera online and this is the best camera I have ever had. Together with the SEL2470GM2 lens is sharp and fast photography. LOVE this camera. Good enough for me.

I've just bought the product, so I'm not too sure how it's gonna go, but I own another Sony camera, A7M4
