Sony RM-EZ4 Remote Control

Easy to set up when you have the code for the device you want to control. The search (for the code of a device not listed), may take time, but is relatively simple. The only improvement I would like is not with the control itself, but with the instruction pamphlet and has to do with the search function. If it described how the search proceeds and the code with which the search begins, you'd have the ability the determine the numeric value of the found code. You could then make a note of it so you wouldn't have to search for it again after replacing the batteries.

The sony remote RM-EZ4! Simple to use and light weight. Has just enough controls for the T.V. . With out having to many as to become confusing. Bit price high, but an need.

I have a 19 yr. old 13" Sony TV in my bedroom and have gone through 2 remote controllers. I ordered this new remote and prayed that it would work AND IT DID. I am very happy. It was very easy to set up after I realized that the TV had to be on to start with. Also, loved the price. My previous remote cost me $50. If you have an old Sony TV (because they never die), I recommend this remote. I have to check a box as to whether this product currently is offered for presale. I don't know what "presale" means so I will just check "yes."

Value is paramount and this television delivers high quality picture and functionality at a very reasonable price. Just have your dealer set it right next to whatever other tv you are considering and make them adjust all the brightness or visual settings on both and I think you will find that there is nothing that compares with the same price tag. Very Satisfied. Also glad to see that Sony is keeping up to par with their classical high quality with their name branding. Hope to see this in all their products. This 40 inch model I understand is one that is still made in the U.S. I was told by the dealer that the smaller models are made overseas but I'm not sure if that would matter or not to you. For what it's worth I would purchase another model now if I could afford it before they discontinue it FYI.
