A: Hi Amber - this items is not dishwasher safe. To clean, wipe surface clean with a damp cloth. Make sure the water never gets trapped in the squeaker hole. Do not submerge in water, sterilize, boil, or put in the dishwasher. To prevent trapped moisture inside Sophie, cover squeaker hole while cleaning. Our all-natural rubber has similar rules to a toothbrush. One baby, one Sophie! It is normal for the food-grade dye to fade overtime with use.

Not worth the cost or hype. My 8 month old chews on it for a second then is over it. Squeaker is unnecessary and makes it so hard to clean/sanitize. My son prefers the cold refrigerated teethers over Sofie

We did receive this as a gift but this teether is super overpriced for what it is. My biggest gripe is with the squeaker. It’s unnecessary and will cause mold. My girl drools like crazy so I would bet money it’s moldy already after a month. You can’t sanitize properly because of the squeaker. There’s already chips of material taken off the face. My baby doesn’t even have anything close to teeth yet. I can only imagine when she does. I gave it 2 stars because my babe does use it.

Save yourself some money and buy a dog chew toy. No, seriously, that’s basically what this is. A glorified dog toy. Squeaker and all. Dog toy will probably last longer though without cracking and fading.
