Do not sterilize. Do not rinse/submerge Sophie in water. The best way to clean the surface of Sophie the giraffe is with a damp cloth and soapy water.

A: Unlike the larger one that is made in France, this one is made in China. It did not seem as good quality as the large one so I’m returning it.

Has strong rubber smell

Didn’t smell right. For a baby product this didn’t feel safe to use. It smelled strongly of burning tires. Washed a few times and the smell doesn’t go away. I don’t understand why it’s highly rated. Will never recommend giving to an infant.
