Each affected skin area should be treated with a maximum of 3 minutes of blue light followed by 3 minutes of red light per day and suggest not to exceed 6 minutes total treatment time (3 minutes red and 3 minutes of blue) daily. I love this thing, but the heads literally disintegrate within a week. It works great- makes a huge difference, acne goes down literally immediately. However- and this happened with two separate devices- large chunks of plastic around the leds literally broke off, and the whole head disintegrated. If they made a device that didn’t fall apart almost immediately, I’d love to repurchase.
