Spec Ops 48 in. Aluminum Box Beam Level with Bungee 3 vial

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Spec Ops level comes with an expectation for durability and accuracy. It is built tough, machined well and is light weight. The grips have a rubberized insert for a better and softer grip. The bungee is a unique feature that I wasn’t sure about when I ordered the level. It stretches and wraps around items so you can go hands free. I have magnetic levels but I would rarely leave them attached if I was moving an item. The bungees are different, you can strap them on and move a whole assembly without fear that the level will fall off and get damaged. Bungees also work on items that are not magnetic. The built-in cord on mine can stretch 24” and easily wrap around 2x8 lumber. You need to use both bungees because at that size the pressure lists the other end of the level. After you are through, a couple of quick loops around the endcap and the cord is stored and not interfering with other measurements. The center level is a huge bellied bubble with double stripes on each side of center. This allows you to get really precise with your placement. I’ve included a picture of the bubble with this review, I wanted to point out that a single piece of cardstock is thick enough to notice a difference in the bubbles position. The amazing center level is complimented with two standard bubbles on each end for plumb. The rubber ends are great for attaching the bungee and mild shock protection but I would not use them to take a measurement from. I have a 24’ Spec Ops box level where the rubber ends are inline with the machined base but the 48” has one rubber end that sits a little high and does not reach the same plane as the base. For storage, there is a hole, big enough to pass a standard ‘brand name’ permanent marker through, at each end for mounting. The powder coat is durable.

It is also helpful to attach it somewhere and hold on to another end if you are using it for something on its side or up really high. However, Its kind of heavy.

It has a large area in the middle with a cutout so you can get a good grip. It has bungee cords at either end so you can wrap it around boards and have an extra hand free. Allows you to do a little more than the standard level. It's very well made and sturdy. Smooth edges all around. Nothing that's going to scratch a surface or your hands.

He unboxed it and was very happy to see to has bungee cords attached to it! He said this will help when leveling certain items, hands free! Also, the vials are large enough read, for those of us that can't see that great! Level seems to be high quality and has a lifetime warranty! What more could you ask for?

It is 48 inches long has a bungee cord that helps when needed for mounting on 2x4s, pipes or any thing that needs mounting. It is very easy to read. It has a lifetime guaranteed for accuracy for plumb, level and 45-degree. I have had a 48 inch level made out of wood for years. It is hard to read and the wood is a little warped and heavy. The Spec Ops Level is light weight, easy to read and won’t warp. I am happy with my Spec Ops Level.

In you use it daily it is the last level you will ever need I mean it. The amount of quality in this is just outstanding and the look is very practical.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a quality level built to take daily use. It has large rubber ends that will absorb hard knocks. It is moulded to wrap the attached bungee cords around to keep them out of the way when not in use. I tried to use them when plumbing up a post but spent too much effort doing so. The 3 vials are large and easy to read and use even for pitching plumbing pipe.

The bungee system is a unique feature that I'll have to wait and see if that get's used. The vials were easily readable. It comes with a lifetime warranty so I'd assume this tool will stand up to the rigors of a construction job site like the makers claim.

Love having the bungee end cords to wrap around 2x4's for easy adjustments. The level itself is constructed of high-quality materials. It has withstood many drops already and no scratches or dents...can't even tell it's been dropped. Have to give a 5-stars on this product. The wife used it before I took it to the construction site to hang up a few pictures, and she loved having a longer level to make sure pictures were even with each other. Highly recommend for work or home.

It has handy bungee cords on each end with a generous guide for handy storage when not in use. There are two reinforced handles that provide a quick grip. The beams are protected in both the middle and each side against accidental breaks. Great tool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this 48 inch Box Beam Level with bungee cords from Special Ops Tools because I had not had the pleasure of trying any products from this brand yet, but also because my husband and I really needed a new level for doing things and projects around the house and as well as my husband using it while at work. So, you can imagine my excitement when I did finally get the level to my house and was able to actually put it use! The level itself arrived very quickly and it was packaged really well to prevent any kind of damage from happening to it. It was packed inside a bigger box so that the level didn't move around inside of it and I really appreciate that they took the time to make sure that nothing would happen to it during shipment. The box level came in it's own box that when you opened it up, immediately showed off the wonderfully crafted level which was super easy to remove. No hard plastic to cut open or anything which was great. They also included a couple small information booklets. It's nice that the packaging is super easy to open and very recyclable with no excess waste. The level itself is made well with what feels like quality materials. I liked the way it looked when I saw it in person. My husband likes the bungees on either end. I loved how well the level performed when I went to hang all of my Halloween decorations this year. I had freshly painted walls which needed to have new nails put in and my picture frames hung. So I was able to use this level and it worked perfectly. It's balanced great & I just really enjoyed using it. I've got so many other projects to finish & this level will be a wonderful help to me. My husband will use it all the time for his work as well. So honestly, I think that anyone would love having this level as their own. I highly recommend getting this box level because of it's quality and performance. You won't regret it. Between all of the things that you can use this box level for & it being from a good brand that takes pride in the products they make, you cannot beat this box level at all.

The attached bungee allowed me to attach it to the beams without worry of falling off or incorrect measurements. It is sturdy and has withheld several drops. Highly recommend!

This is incredibly helpful when hanging TVs in the home and hanging up large pictures. I have already been able to use this several times and I know that I will continue to get plenty of use out of it.

They are all lined up evenly. It is lightweight. The hanging cords on the ends are a big help. Being made in America by veterans makes it aven better.
