This stud buddy is so rialable because is easy to find the stud and hang up your pictures is very useful and easy to use and you could use it and it stays in the wall is very secure and very responsive

super simple to use, but watch out for it falling out of your hands and onto the floor when you're iffy on where the stud is. Its made of somewhat cheap plastic, and this thing is going to crack soon enough once it hits the floor. Besides that, its really just magnets inside of a case, so the simplicity is surely there.

Everyone should have one of these!!! If you don’t go do yourself a favor and get one. It’s so easy and convenient to use. These are great just for finding the studs to hang a picture a tv wall mount, etc… I used them in carpentry but everyone needs one just to be able to find the wood stud behind the wall for everyday use things. It doesn’t scratch your wall and it only uses magnets. The best part is it hangs vertically once you found the stud so you can know where it runs in the wall.

The StudBuddy Stud Finder is a simple way to find studs and nails. It is very easy to use and when a nail and stud is located the stud finder sticks to the wall. It accurately finds the studs in seconds. Great product.

StudBuddy claims it is the “simplest stud finder” on the market, and to an extent I agree. StudyBuddy is not composed of any moving parts or sensors. Instead, the tool uses magnets to bind to the nails, screws, etc. that secure the stud(s) in place. Unfortunately, this is where it becomes apparent that StudBuddy trades simplicity for practicality. In order to find a stud with StudBuddy, the user is instructed to run the tool in a zig-zag pattern across wide swathes of a wall. Whereas a traditional stud finder uses sensors and density differentials to demarcate a stud’s edges, StudBuddy ONLY works when there is something metallic behind the wall to which the tool can bond. This means that a user can easily miss whole studs simply because the tool was not run over the ‘nailed-in’ part of the stud. In my tests, StudBuddy missed about 90% of the studs for which I knew locations. Honestly, I really don’t know who this tool is for, but I would absolutely suggest investing in a proper, more practical, stud finder.

My eife has been asking me to help her hanging aome wall art at home for a couple of weeks so that’s ehy I decided to worjk on it once I received my new StudBuddy a couple of days ago. Thia tool is exactly what I neeto complete this project without hesitation. Easy to use and extremely helpful. A must have!

This tool is very handy and easy to use. The directions are very simple and include a good illustration. I was able to easily locate the studs in my wall to get a picture hung. I could feel the pull of the magnet when a nail was located. The only trouble was tiny imperfections in the surface of the wall that would halt the movement of the stud buddy as I slid along the wall, but a light touch let me slide over them and locate the nails.
