A: Hello, most of our garlic comes from our own fields in California, but California alone cannot supply garlic to the entire United States, so we lean on suppliers from other countries such as Argentina, Spain, and Mexico to supplement our own production.

Great quality garlic, but only 6 oz (not 8 oz)
The garlic is great! Very convenient to not have to mince garlic and be able to scoop out as much as you need. The only problem is you’re not paying for 8 oz. The label is incorrect. The jar holds 6 oz. It’s either a typo on their labeling or they didn’t measure the jar size when they packaged the product. You can easily test this by filling the jar with water up to where the garlic is filled and then pour through water into a measuring cup = 6 oz. Aside from the incorrect label, it’s a great product.

Something Changed
This brand tastes vinegary now, but I'm not sure why. Either the product was changed, or my tastebuds have, as I used this brand of minced garlic for years and used to love it. Over the past few years, though, I've noticed a distinct vinegary taste when I try this that imbues my recipes with the same sourness. I've switched back to fresh cloves.

Surprised it’s pretty decent. The smell of the garlic isn’t strong. Taste is there just wish there was a tad less liquid. Main issue is that the lid is sealed with cellophane. And the cellophane pops the seal easily when you open it but it’s hard to get the cellophane off after that.
