Was surprised to see so many negative reviews. I’ve had no issue with the new formula, and actually really liked the new scent. For the life of me I don’t understand some of the comparisons being made, my bottle at least is a very light fragrance. Hoping these reviews don’t spook the buyers from removing this product, I like the change. The new bottle/cap is nice too.

This used to be the only sunscreen we got and loved it, but they seemed to have mixed the sunscreen with Axe body spray. It smells absolutely horrible and it takes several washings to get the smell off. Really not sure why they decided to add in the horrendous smell. Who the heck wants to smell like a teenaged boy heavily doused in cheap cologne?!?! I got the kids sunscreen thinking there’s no way they added the heavy cologne scent to a kids sunscreen and they sure did.

This stuff runs literally every time I use it. It also smells terrible (I won't tell you the combination of smells but it's probably worse than you expect). Might protect from the sun but if you can't use your eyes because it's agitating them, is it worth it?

This sunblock has a really strong masculine scent. I was expecting it to be unscented because the bottle doesn't say anything about the scent (usually if lotion smells like sandalwood or whatever, it's indicated on the bottle) but it has a strong cologne like smell. I think I'm going to return the product.

I can’t understand why Target insists on taking perfectly good products and ruining them through a “re-design”. The old version was a good value, not super greasy and MOST Importantly, fragrance-free. They just didn’t just the packaging, the product inside is different. Now it has a heavy headache-inducing perfume smell. Why make a sunscreen smell like cologne or perfume? No athlete wants this.

I wish I would have looked at reviews before purchasing in store. It smells absolutely horrible and offered very little protection. I applied once an hour because I’m pregnant and mostly sat in shade however still burned like a lobster. Don’t waste your money!

False advertisement. Not the same formula. Horrible fragrnace smell. Strongly Smells like men's cologne. Old version was fragrance free. Will be retuning and will no longer purchase this brand which is unfortunate because it was the perfect match compared to other brands I've tried. Sad times :(

I used this sunscreen on my face and body. I didn’t get a sun burn, so I suppose it did its job. HOWEVER, it smells bad, and is greasy. In addition, my face had a horrible reaction to this sunscreen, resulting in my face being covered in a million tiny whiteheads, and bright red inflamed skin. Incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable. Please enjoy this horrible mug shot I’ve taken of myself to showcase the aftermath of this sunscreen.

The fragrance is overpowering and nauseating on this updated product. It is unbearable. We previopusly used the former Up and Up Brand Sport Sunscreen Lotion for many years. I opened an online chat chat session and tried to ask for help finding a substitute but the "beauty consultant" could not satisfy my request for a sunscreen SPF 50, water resistant, reef friendly sunscreen lotion that fits this description : No fragrance, No Hyaluronic acid, No Oxybenzone , No Octinoxate, No dyes, no parabens, no PABA, no phthalates, and does NOT leave a white cast on skin. I am still looking for a substitute. Please go back to the a fragrance free version of this product!

Oh my gosh. I just put this on my 9-year-old son and he said it smelled like bad breathe. I said oh come on. But wow, he’s right, it smells terrible! Bad mens cologne. So disappointed. I’ve been buying up and up sunscreen for years and have always loved it. Do not recommend this new formula.

Not a fan of the new perfumed formulation, also it is not indicated on the packaging that it has a strong non-neutral odor. Additionally the pink bottle neither looks good, nor is as robust as prior years bottles. Just poor choices all around, I'll make a better choice to return this and switch brands.

We have used the up & up sport sunscreen for years and have loved the no fragrance formula...BUT, this has been reformulate and now smells like men's cologne! We tried it, but the scent did not fade on our skin. We returned the product.
