Warm taupe glow
It's a pretty shade just a little bit dressed up with the gold trim and with a lovely bell shape I like the color and due to the nice fabric and the design, it looks pretty when it glows when the lamp is turned on. Because I did not want a white/cream shade and did not want ahard backed shade, I was glad to find this one which is a warm tone.

I wanted to dress up these lamps, bring the gold out on the base and I also wanted a narrower shade. These lamps are older than I am (I'm 62) and I can remember them from when I was a little girl. I was very anxious about ordering the gold but when I received them I couldn't believe how gorgeous they were and how well they matched. The picture I ordered from on the Lamps Plus site was very accurate. I am so happy with this purchase.
