St. Tropez Supreme Grab & Go Kit - 1.69 fl oz - Ulta Beauty

I was excited to try this in hopes of finding something to match my skin tone. I am a seasoned self tanner of 15+ years and I have very fair, cool toned skin (Tanologist is the best for cool skin toned in my experience but I like St Tropez a bit more for longevity). Unfortunately this didn't meet my expectations like other St Tropez products usually do. -This product dries super fast so if you are a newbie that will make it a bit more challenging. -The guide color looks a little whacky, definitely on the greener side, the color still turned out a nice shade, no streaks or patches. -It did not give me much color at all, and that's saying something since I am so pale. (Although I do think that is a natural characteristic of the specific shade type self tanners). For all the extra work I did that was highly disappointing. -The smell is a little odd, definitely not like other self tanners. I could really only detect it during the rinse off and for a bit after so it's not a huge deal to me, but it was definitely an off-putting smell. I think I prefer the traditional self tanner smell tbh. I wanted to love this and had high hopes, but unfortunately this was not a great one for me. I will go back to the St Tropez express or Tanologist express.

Ok, in all honesty, yes, it's very sticky and yes, it transfered onto my bed sheets. I personally can look over both because the color is EXCEPTIONAL. I really, really love the end result. For the stickiness, I try to stand under my ceiling fan for about 10 minutes. Most of the stickiness goes away. It does remain slightly sticky but I am able to overlook it. For the transferring on the bed sheets, next time I will lay a towel underneath, NBD. If you don't think you can overlook these cons, don't even bother. I will be repurchasing the full size for sure.

I bought this because I wanted to look tan for graduation. As someone who never self tans, I am so glad I went with this product! It was easy to use and gave me a beautiful tan without making me look orange. Definitely recommend!

I'm a seasoned tanner for over 20 years & I was excited to try this violet. I always do 2 coats so that's what I did. I slept overnight in this and rinsed it off around 12 hours later. It didnt give me much color at all, I thought it was strange, so I decided to do 2 more coats, which now, used the entire bottle. I waited this time around 7 hours before rinsing. Still didn't add much color but I have more of an orange tint than i've ever had. This formula dried too quickly so I was working faster than usual. Didn't end up with streaks or patchy though. I will not use this again, glad I only bought the trial size. My go to is the express version, I sleep in it and it gives me the best deep color i've tried so far. Was hoping the violet lived up to the deep color and orange countering it was claiming but it failed for my skin. #RIP

I have naturally red hair and the sun is not my friend AT ALL. I have tried several self tanners. Some have worked and some have not but none have ever given me an obvious tan. Application makes you look dirty but it rinses off beautifully.

I was gifted by sttropez the purple tanning kit and I absolutely love the final result. However, it is an arm workout to put on! It takes a long time to rub it in and make sure it's not streaky. But the results are worth it. I'm naturally very pale, so i leave it on for about 5-6 hours and I get a very deep tan. I can only imagine how dark it'd be if I left it on full time. Love this for summer!

I received this product complimentary from St. Tropez in exchange for my honest review. I used self tanner often for big events or in the summer to keep my tan fresh. I find it's always difficult to do on my own, but I've gotten better at it over time. This was easy to apply. I liked how it left my skin and how it darkened over the time I left it on. When I washed it off, I felt like I got a nice even tone and it did not look orange or splotchy. I have no bad things to say, and I'll definitely be using it again.

I really love this self tanning kit! Perfect for travel and is super easy to apply. Tan always comes out looking very seamless and natural. No streaks especially if you exfoliate before using and not orange at all. Gifted by St Tropez

This self tanner color is absolutely stunning! I have never seen a purple self tanner shade, but this one creates such a dark tan which I love! The travel set is really nice. Love that it comes with a mitt too. Since this shade is so dark, you may want to be a little more cautious of streaks. Overall, very pretty tan! I was gifted by StTropez.
