[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has been really a lifesaver for me. I broke my back in 2012 and I do struggle to get into and out of the bathtub. This is sturdy and strong, I feel truly safe with this installed. Very easy to install, too. My only suggestion would be putting the handle a little lower. Thank you so much for the opportunity to try this product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the package arrived I could tell this able life bath tub to ceiling grab bar was going to be a life saving feature in my bathroom. It clamps securely to the side of my tub And braces to the ceiling without screws or drilling. The only draw back for me was I needed two shower curtains due to the pole when I usually just use a colored liner. I like the weight capacity and would recommend it for DIY adaptation without needing a contractor.

Today I'm reviewing the: Able Life Universal Floor to Ceiling Grab Bar. The first thing I noticed was that the box looked rather large and for me, it was very heavy. If you are elderly or have decreased strength, please have someone else get the box in your house. With that being said ... I was impressed with how everything felt well made and sturdy. A hurdle I experienced was installation again if you're a single person that is up in age or experiencing health hurdles ... You would probably call someone to assist you. I am not an experienced handy person and I felt the instructions and the fact that they lettered each piece was great for us beginner installers! I really appreciated the fact that they threw in a nice wrench! We installed and shook it back and forth and it was secure. I recommend everyone really check the sturdiness after installation. A few things to keep in mind: Depending on your shower rod you might have to purchase another shower curtain and also if you have a Jacuzzi style tub (wider corners of the tub) this product will not work. Also, make sure this will work with your ceiling height.Overall, I think this would be a useful product for anyone with or without balance issues or senior citizens. Go check them out!

It doesn’t take up space. It looks trendy Totally blends in looks like a king with a bathtub or the Shower. It’s very steady and strong 💪 I recommend it to everyone. Having a family member that is mobility challenged. It is nice to have an option for apartments and places that you can’t alter permanently. I will say that it is a bit heavy although easy to assemble I don’t love having to have two separate shower curtains, but it is nice to have a non-drilled option. Once installed, the bar is sturdy and it does help with getting in and out of the bathtub/shower combo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased with this bar. My Mom needed stability assist getting into the tub but also getting up off the toilet and this Able Life Bathroom Grab Bar totally fits the bill. It is made of all steel components except for one plastic tube that just covers the tightening mechanism. It comes packed very well with plastic sleeves on all the parts so none are scratched. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Took us about half an hour to set it up start to finish. I was concerned the piece that attaches to the tub rim would damage it but it has foam pads on all the contact surfaces so there will be no damage when it is removed. You can either use it with pressure on the ceiling to hold it in place or screws which are provided to put in the ceiling studs if you want. I will use the pressure for now as my Mom will use this bar more for stability then actual pulling hard on it. This is exactly what I was looking for and my Mom couldn’t be happier.

Unfortunately, it doesn't work with our tub and shower curtain rods. We have standard tubs, but our shower curtain rods are curved and have a bar for both the curtain and the liner. The vertical support doesn't fit. I will be giving it to a friend to try and will update my review.

The grab bar is super easy to install. It can be install in your tub or next to your bed or even in your living room and it can help you get up easily. I fell in love with this tool. Highly recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I was not able to test out this product due to having a shower door and it did not fit, but it appears to be very well made. The bar’s appear very heavy duty though the bar is only to be used for balance and support. I was disappointed with the fact that it is to be placed in the middle of the tub railing and not on the end of the tub although I don’t see why it couldn’t be. Also you would have to make the bar very tight to the ceiling and I could see where this could damage the finish you have on the ceiling. Overall this is not really a product I would want installed in my home.

He has a shower chair & lifted toilet seat but still has a little difficulty getting up from both. We were able to put this grab bar in so that it was helpful for him to use to get up from both of those areas. My husband said it was easy to install. It’s very sturdy & stable. Sadly, it wasn't universal for my bathtub. I have a weird ceiling that prevented me from testing it out on the tub but I did still attempt to attach it but no pictures of that step because my shower rod fell down. It's good quality and I liked its construction. The instructions were a bit confusing but managed to figure them out. Standing on the floor, it held weight well as I pulled up on it. I would recommend this product and I would buy this product if it fit my bathtub.
