This product has been great for managing my mare who has cushings. Has allowed her to gain the weight she needs without throwing her levels off.

I have a senior Paso Fino mare in her mid twenties with dsld I've assumed care of since Jan of this year. She was very underweight and her muscles were atrophied. I started her on Standlee grass pellets and feed her eight lbs spread throughout the day. She had been steadily putting on weight, brightening in personality, and moving much more in the pasture than when she first arrived. She is building muscle and her coat is so glossy and silky now. Very happy with these products and will continue using.

Wonderful for my OTTB. She was very defensive of her girth area and just her sides in general while she was on ProForce Fuel. I wanted something more natural and complete without all the added junk and sugars. I decided to make the switch to Timothy Alfalfa since I feed her free choice orchard alfalfa hay and she has access to mixed grass pasture. I supplemented with a ration balancer and the results speak for themselves. She’s rounded out, put on muscle, and is shin no mg brighter than a diamond. I’m obsessed. She’s my first horse so I was worried I was going to have trouble transitioning her to a better more appropriate diet but she switched over like a boss! I’m never turning back!

We bought some alfalfa pellets to help supplement our hay quality and it has made her more calm, and way more shiny! She loves to see the grain bucket coming

I normally buy a different brand of these pellets, but decided to try these with the new promotion they were doing. Now, there is NO way I'm going back to the old brand. My horses love these pellets and they seem way more palatable than the competition brand. These pellets also have been very consistent in form and shape. They are easy to soak and my horses seem to like these more than the previous brand I used.

Perfect balanced blend for my senior geldings. They have aged teeth, so the pellets add the right amount of calories needed in a format they can easily absorb. I love how there's zero fillers/additives and I never find any stray pieces of corn or seeds like I find in some other brands!

I purchased this because my 32 year old stopped eating hay cause of his teeth. The vet removed 2 of his teeth. He still wouldn’t eat hay. I went and got him this and he ate it right up. He loves it. So does my younger horse. He screams and kicks for some. I’m happy he will eat his hay again!! Back to himself because of these hay pellets. May look like mush but he loves it!!!

Pellets vs hay - 1 month ago
originally posted on Standlee
My 34 year old horse recently had issues digesting hay. My vet suggested I try switching him to Standlee alfalfa/timothy pellets. He absolutely loves this and not too large so I don't have to soak down. And better yet is returning to his normal self. No more having to go out each morning and wash him down.

I recently switched my horse to a forage diet. This product has been perfect. I soak them because he’s an older gentleman and his teeth are not great. This allows me to put his joint supplement, flax and any other product needed in with it, and he eats it without hesitation

My horses love these pellets. I feed a forage based diet, so they get soaked pellets instead of grain. They also double as treats!

We have an older (27) mare who my daughter runs poles on. She had a hard winter & so I wanted to try something to get her built back up. The Timothy pellets worked fantastic! She actually loved them more than her grain! She would leave her grain & go eat her pellets first!
