Standlee Premium Western Forage Alfalfa Pill Carriers for Horses, 7 Ounces

My older mare has PPID and takes Prascend daily. She loves the pill carriers and eats it as a treat before her meal. I just pop the two pills in which stick to the cranberry filling and then she gobbles it down. My other horse gets jealous so he sometimes gets an empty one just because he’s cute!! Easy way to make sure she gets all her meds. I’ve also used it to give her bute pills as she is very picky about meds mixed in with her feed. She never refuses them and I Love them because it’s so easy

Doesn’t work with bute, but oral Ace goes right down much more pleasant way to deliver!

I have purchased 3 bags of these from 3 different places, hoping for a different result. I have a very picky horse that does not like molasses so I decided to try these. And he likes them. The problem that I have is that out of those 3 bags, I have had 3 pill pockets that actually had enough soft cranberry to put the pill into. Most have a very small amount of hard dried cranberry on the bottom that you cant even put a pill in and many have no cranberry at all. So unfortunately, they have become just expensive horse treat. Standlee, I know you can do better.

Best product ever!! Use it for metabolic daily medications. No worries about making sure pill is ingested! Great and easy product.

This is a great product. I just wish it didn't cost more than the actual medication I use it for...

In my opinion. WORST company in the world. A lot of the "Packaging" dates have 3 or 4 stickers on top of them which means they can be 10 years old and as you try to look and they all come off together so you can't read them. Also, many of them DO NOT have the cranberry filling.55 Years in the horse business and by far the WORST company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tricking my horse into taking her medicine has never been easier! I’m so grateful for this easy little treat. No more trying to hide in an Apple or watermelon, which was getting time consuming and messy.

I have a mare that needs medication occasionally, but she can smell the pill before I get to the barn. Pop the pill in one of these and throw in a couple of VeryBery treats and we have success. Amazing how much easier that process is now.

My horse will eat these but they are a little too big for what I need them for.

I got to try for my older gelding that has daily meds. He wouldn't eat them. I tried to use them as treat for the others but they aren't fans either. Just a couple of them will like them. I think they are too big/hard to chew.

Great way to give pills to your horses. They enjoy the flavor and you know they took the medicine without fighting to get it in them.

These are a lifesaver! My horse has Cushing's and he is so difficult to cook, he finds the pills in his food every day! These pass his picky test every day, he loves them!

Love this product! I use the pill carriers a couple of different ways. As a treat the horses and my cows love them. In the past is made it easier to give medications to the horses that are on short or long term medications.

I bought these to hide my horse's Equioxx and Prascend in. My horse is usually very good at picking out the meds from other treats and feed. I have had no issues disguising the meds using these pill carriers!

These work great when givibgbdailyboulls. The outside is substantial to hold several pills and the indent holds several small pills. I smash a German Muffin on top and the horse never knows he’s just gotten his meds.
