Description
Premium Orchard grass forage for small companion animals is grown to the proper stage of maturity. The plant is cut, allowing them to sun-cure (dry) to an acceptable moisture level, baled, and then Standlee inventory specialists visually inspect and select only the highest quality forage that goes into each bag and box. Standlee logistics ensures the product is delivered fresh and on-time! Premium Orchard grass forage is slightly higher in protein and calories compared to timothy and can be moderate to high in sugar content. To maintain product quality and ensure safety, properly store product in a covered, cool, and well-ventilated environment. As long as the product is properly stored, forages can last for well over a year.

Soft long strand hay. Rabbits love the timothy hay better. But I mix them together for diversity.

Great Treat For My Bun!

He is given a pinch of hay periodically as a treat, and it always disappears quickly. The slim bag is closed with a tie and contains the product to ensure freshness and no loose mess in the house. I highly recommend this orchard hay from Standlee Premium Western Forage.

Very fragrant

Best orchard loose forage

Fresh great food for the guinea pig!

She normally waits until we close her cage to come out for food, but as soon as I filled her bowl, she was out nibbling on it . It smelled fresher than my normal brand and was a different texture than my normal product. I think we will be switching over!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster and the brand in exchange for my honest review. Welp, our Guinea pigs absolutely LOVE this hay! They were "pop-corning' all over the place with happiness. Couldn't get enough of it. Our rabbits ate it, but they weren't as crazy about it as the piggies. It spread out well, theres alot in the smaller bag, so thats a good bang for your buck if you just have one or two critters, but i would definitely suggest a bigger bag if you have a lot! All in all i give it 2 thumbs up!

When I realized I couldn't I gave it to a neighbor that has a guinea pig and she says he really enjoyed it. And that she would recommend it to anyone who has a small mammal that is an herbivore.
