  • A: I love my Stanley its the Popsicle pink Starburst color and im going to get a TON of Stanley cup Accessories to decorate my Stanley. I think this is the worlds best cup EVER made by the Stanley brand.

  • A: I actually agree with you this is ridiculous consumerism is real

submitted byATTCA - 3 years ago
  • A: If you can't afford $45 for a cup, move along. It's not that much for the quality you get. There are cheaper versions that don't hold up nearly as well.

    submitted byMaryG41 - 3 years ago
  • A: I lost mine with ice in it for a week and found it one week later and the ice was STILL there. so 45 for that insulation isn't that bad

submitted byalexandria - 3 years ago
  • A: These are worth the money if u can snag a cool collab since they are all the same price. The basic colors will do but means my money waited til I found one that said it was meeeee like I got the OR purple one that is rare I was picked to buy and the white colorblock one from dicks and the swirly one that looked like lover album and then got my fiancé into them and got the neon yellow for him and ALL I spent hours off and on locating matching boots and straw toppers off amazon. Question: can anyone please post the info I’m looking for the acrylic round cover in the purple and stars to put on my OR cup. I can’t find amazon. Maybe Etsy.

  • A: Hysterical that everyone comes here to complain! Go to Instagram if you wanna be a troll! Grow up people! Do we complain about what you spend your $ on?

submitted byTroll Hater - 2 years ago
  • A: Soooo expensive just for a water bottle

submitted byJose - 2 years ago
  • A: Sure is! People paid that for Yetis just a few years ago. These have been around for ages. This is not new. The colors are new. The company went from 75 million to 750 million. Genius marketing!

submitted byBoss - 3 years ago
  • A: It may seem like a really bad price for a water bottle but they are very durable, I've dropped mine several times and it is still in brand new condition and it is a big water bottle and very nice.

submitted byMrstuhler - 3 years ago
  • A: Do they have a 35.00 version of these

submitted byFox - 1 year ago
  • A: Dude I have 25 dollar water bottle from Amazon and it keeps ice for a week and is a lot bigger plus it’s lead free and doesn’t leak and has multiple attachments that’s lasted me for years around 6 ish

submitted byBillie eilish - 2 years ago
  • A: I gifted a 30oz ice flow Stanley to my daughter when she started college. It is with her 24/7; school, work, home, car it's there. I think she literally cried the first time she dented and I know she did when she left it in her lab and was convinced someone would take it before she could get back to it (her professor set it aside for her). She and her Stanley have just started their sophomore year and still going strong. To me, it was worth the money to know she's always hydrated walking the CofC campus and she treasures a simple water bottle, probably in part because she knows the cost. It was money well spent for me.

submitted byPortcityjes - 1 year ago
  • A: Yeah because its a trending item right now.

submitted bykateban - 3 years ago
  • A: Have you tried one? I’m thinking not because honestly, Stanley 1913 has been around forever and I still remember my mom had a thermos she took to work almost every single day and I think she still has it. Honestly they are worth every single penny! They are beautiful and they really do keep your drinks cold and your ice in tact. I have had brain freeze in the hot summer weather and my ice don’t melt for days! Im just sad I missed the Sour Grape as I want one so badly and the Popsicle Pink too! Id love to be able to have one! When you’re buying a Stanley 1913 you’re buying an investment because they’ve sold on other sites for 3-4 times as much. I think that is what the highway robbery is shameful about but they are definitely worth it. Im just hoping and praying I’ll get a Sour Grape and a Popsicle Pink! Seriously try one and then you’ll see what all of us go crazy about them. I will say with the economy like it is, I can understand how you feel. But as I said earlier, it’s an investment with a company thats been around since 1913 and they have a lifetime warranty. I hope you’ll at least try one. You deserve it!

  • A: Indeed. Big Dumb Cup. 😄

submitted bySNL - 2 years ago
  • A: Ya, totally overpriced but if u care for brand name. It is really trendy but u could totally get the same thing for ten bucks

submitted byMe - 1 year ago
  • A: They are the best cups ever so worth it

submitted byAbbigale - 3 years ago
  • A: While it is expensive, they are incredibly durable. A 32 oz HydroFlask is $42 so keep that in mind while complaining about the price of a good quality bottle.

submitted byLiv - 2 years ago
  • A: yep! They are very high quality and if you would like to go for a cheaper alternative there are other variations but the brand is not Stanley but as a Stanley owner myself, I can prove that they WORK

submitted bylorax - 1 year ago
  • A: It’s an aesthetic.

Q: I'm buying this for my nine-year-old daughter is there a big difference in a 30 ounce and 40 ounce

submitted by Jay - 3 years ago
  • A: The 30 oz is better for a younger kid it’s smaller and I would highly recommend the flip top Stanley because she will spill it everywhere all the time or you could get things on Amazon to stop the bottle from leaking

submitted byScreename - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, 10 ounces!!!!!!!!

submitted byWhatever - 2 years ago
  • A: For a nine year old I would get the 20 ounce one.

submitted byJj - 3 years ago
  • A: 10 ounces! The 40 ounce is much heavier when filled!

submitted byJan - 3 years ago
  • A: not really but the 40 oz you don't have to refill as much u have to do with the 30 oz

submitted byTee - 3 years ago
  • A: I've found that the 30oz is much easier and lighter to use. The 40oz is handy but it's so heavy when there's liquid in it. For your daughter, a 30oz should be perfect!

    submitted byMaryG41 - 3 years ago
  • A: the 30oz might be a better option to fit in her backpack and it is lighter

submitted byalexandria - 3 years ago
  • A: 40 oz is definitely to big for a nine year old

submitted byDolCocRem - 2 years ago
  • A: 40 I bigger and much heavier I prefer the 30

submitted byHehe - 2 years ago
  • A: I don't think there is because I have both of them and they are kind of the same.

submitted byKatie - 3 years ago
  • A: I think the 40 oz is too heavy. I prefer 24 oz or 30oz Stanley Bottles.

submitted bySheryl - 2 years ago
  • A: Run up to either a Dick's Sporting Goods or a Target and compare the 2 styles you are looking at and the difference yourself. My husband has both sizes and he uses each one for different events he does, so I'm no help or I am with telling you it's really a personal preference.

    submitted byangelsmom10 - 10 months ago
  • A: A 30 oz Stanley is significantly smaller. If you fill both up and compare them, the 30 oz is also lighter. I would recommend a 30 oz since she might not even drink all of that water, and it'll be easier to carry.

submitted byLiv - 2 years ago
  • A: The difference is 10 ounces.

submitted bywhirleybird - 2 years ago
  • A: Well if i buy my nine yr old a 40 onz shes not gonna carry it but there is no 30 onz of that same stanley for the thirty ounce so if your and adult then yayaya

submitted byAriana Grande - 2 years ago
  • A: Are they spill and leak proof I need a timber which is both I have been wanting a Stanley please tell me that they work and do not spill like others

    submitted byChristy A C - 8 months ago

Q: do all of these Stanley's leak especially the wisteria?

submitted by Aryanna - 3 years ago
  • A: If you want something leakproof, get a Brumate!

submitted bywhirleybird - 2 years ago
  • A: these have the built in stopper for liquid around the straw but if held upside down will leak from out of the straw area

submitted byAnonomus - 3 years ago
  • A: Why all the questions... sip tea and be merry... it keeps 'em warm... or cold... your preference on a fine summa's day.

submitted byJaxon Paxon - 2 years ago
  • A: If they stay straight up they do not leak. However that is not the biggest issue with these, it’s that they get dented

submitted byMe - 1 year ago
  • A: If you turn them to the side or upside down - yes, they will obviously leak due to the straw opening (you can buy specific silicone rings to solve this issue). Otherwise, no, they do not leak

submitted bytatiana - 3 years ago
  • A: Only the ones with the flip straw are spill proof

submitted bySteven - 1 year ago
  • A: These vessels are NOT spill-proof. They have an opening to use a straw or just drink out of the opening (sans straw). They are meant to be kept upright. They will leak otherwise. Hope this helps.

submitted bySFBaygirl - 3 years ago
  • A: I do not think so because I have one and they do not.

submitted byKatie - 3 years ago
  • A: They aren't spill proof On Amazon you can get spill stopper specifically for this and I highly recommend them they help so much and are a live saver

submitted byAbbigale - 3 years ago
  • A: all Stanley quenchers will spill if turned upside down or they fall over. The spill proof are the flip top Stanley's.

submitted byTheresa - 3 years ago
  • A: Ok , someone asked for another to please reply . I have 2, 40 ounce Stanley’s . One was a gift to me and the other I bought . Do they leak you ask ? If held upside down deliberately while using the straw option small drips could occur but using the Stanley normal like NO it doesn’t leak even while filled with carbonated waters . You can use it without the straw as a drink cup - no drips or leaks here from mine . I also have the Stanley flip top (spout) and no leaks . My Stanley’s go outside with me to the garden and the pool area sit in blazing sun with iced drinks inside the cup and remain super cold till the drink inside is gone and ice still remains inside ! Pricey ? Yes . Sometimes they are on sale - past colors etc. the decision to spend so much is yours to do or not to do but is it worth it ? To me , yes . The quality is there for sure . Hope this answers your questions. These make great gifts for graduation , teen and adult birthdays . To spend 45.00 for a graduation gift which will be loved is actually a bargain in today’s overpriced world . This answer is only my personal opinion I am not a sponsor or a paid reviewer.

submitted byIphone - 3 years ago

submitted byEryka - 3 years ago

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 years ago

Q: I have a hard time opening my Stanley cup! Does anyone else have trouble?

submitted by Todddannyy - 3 years ago
  • A: If you tighten the lid too much it can be tricky to open. I’ve had this problem, so I make sure my lid is tight enough to not leak but not so tight I can’t open it.

submitted byMamablue - 2 years ago
  • A: No that's really strange

submitted byIris - 3 years ago
  • A: Has to do with the outside temperature. I would put it in the freezer for 15 mins and that will help. Also don’t hold the handle while opening it. It can cause the handle to break off. Hold the bottom and the lid.

submitted bySoccermom - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, but only if I tighten it too much. I tighten it just enough to where it won't leak, and is still easy to get the lid off. I have found that when using any water bottle, if you tighten it too much, using a paper towel to help open it does the trick most of the time.

submitted byLiv - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes! I couldn’t get mine open this morning so I filled it in the hole on the lid! Came here looking for help. Hoping more people chime in.

submitted byJen - 9 months ago

Q: Can they be washed in the bottom rack of a dishwasher or do the instructions say "top rack only"? The tall ones won't fit in my dishwashers top rack & I'm wondering if the bottom rack will damage them

submitted by DJ - 3 years ago
  • A: I honestly don't know but I just hand wash mine.

submitted bymeghan - 3 years ago
  • A: It does not say “top rack only” and I wash mine in the bottom rack all the time.

submitted byMamablue - 2 years ago
  • A: I don't put mine in the dishwasher anymore, so I have to hand wash it. Which is a pain in the neck, but worth it. The dishwasher caused the paint/color on it to chip, peel, and warp. SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HAND WASHING IT!!!

    submitted bySchol07 - 2 years ago
  • A: I've never washed any metal water bottles in the dishwasher. I recommend handwashing it. It might take extra time but it will keep the tumbler in peak condition.

submitted byLiv - 2 years ago
  • A: Yes, the cup and straw I was in the bottom and the lid I put in the top rack. Never had an issue!

submitted byNik - 2 years ago

submitted byMe - 2 years ago

I had the cup sitting on my car seat; I took a turn, and the cup tipped over. Water started leaking out—through the straw and around the lid opening where the straw sits—absolutely everywhere (a huge amount of water), as if the cup were broken—which, obviously, it wasn't. My purse got soaked. I own another cup—from a different brand—and the water has *never* spilled like it did with this one! I am very upset because, considering how expensive this cup is, the water spills far too easily.

    Great cup, no straw.
