This unit is extremely lightweight and is best for home use as you have to plug it into a wall. You can jumpstart, charge and check the levels of your battery. The big bonus for me is you can also check your alternator which is always a concern when your car won’t start. I also appreciate its ability to be used on multiple battery types. Extremely happy to have this product!

If you have a vehicle that doesn't get driven much or motorcycles, lawn equipment, etc., then this is for you. It will take longer to charge a car battery, but I like the concept of the float mode which is a great safety feature and will not overcharge your battery, but rather provide a low and steady voltage and maintain a full charge. There is an option to check the alternator as well. The charger is lightweight, with two cord compartments. One for the power cord and the other for the clamps. The clamps store well, because they attach to the top of the charger, however the power cord can wrap around the cord holder, but has nothing to hold it into place, and can easily unravel. There are four rubber feet on the bottom to keep the unit in place without slipping or sliding, and a convenient carrying handle. This Stanley charger is compact, easy to store, and a great versatile battery charger/maintainer for various battery types. Would make a nice gift as well.

He has had his car for 10 years and it has been riding strong, however from time to time it has had some issue with battery. On multiple occasions he has had to borrow or find a shop that could charge his battery. He now carries this in his car at all times. We love how strong and high quality this charger is, however it is light and an easy to hold with a handle on the side. It includes alternator check, battery voltage, and a battery recondition button. We are thankful to have this tool as it could really help us during a tough time.

It has options for lead acid and lithium with a backlit digital display. It also has multiple charging modes, but I haven’t tried them all yet. Overall it’s simple to use, it works and is a reasonable form factor. I am happy with it and if you are looking for an updated, but fairly traditional battery charger, then this one should do the trick.

It did an amazing job at charging up my battery that is dying one me due to not using my car in 3 months. I want to start off with the Cons. -I wish this was portable and rechargeable. Depending where your car is, you’ll need an extension cord to reach your battery. It took me a while to realize that it wasn’t portable or rechargeable. -don’t have an on or off button. This confused me. Pros- •Lightweight • fast charging speed • can charge both acid and lithium batteries (this is amazing feature) • small do easy to store Advice- read the instructions thoroughly and complete. It’s a bit confusing but the instructions are easy to read and follow.

In general it seems to work faster than other chargers I’ve tried charging my battery from empty to full in several hours. The battery charger is light weight and has a handle to help with easy transport. The charger is compact and has a convenient LCD display screen. My husband and I connected the cord to the wall to charge the battery charger. Once it was charged, we connected the positive and negative clamps to the lawnmower battery. We selected the engine star icon on the LCD display and then waited for a minute or two. This allowed the battery to regain its charge. Finally, we were able to start the mower and finish the last cut of the season! I cannot wait to see what we need to jumpstart next. I hope I never have to, but am excited to see it work on a vehicle! Try this Stanley Fatmax Battery Charger to relieve a very stressful situation!
