This blend was introduced in 1998 for those who prefer a milder cup. A shade lighter than most of our offerings—more toasty than roasty—it was the result of playing with roast and taste profile together for a flavor that appealed to a wider range of palates. Q: Can you use this in a French Press?

  • A: You can if it's finely ground, it just wouldn't be as good as a more coursely ground alternative. I'm guessing when it says ground it means it's finely ground. I'd buy the whole beans honestly.

Starbucks pre-ground coffee is a medium grind, perfect for a drip coffee maker.  Typically, a coarser grind is used for a French Press for the right extraction and helps prevent coffee grinds from getting through the metal filter.
