Easy to use and seals tightly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love Stasher bags. I usually only use the quart size bags. I like to use them to store ingredient for my morning omelets. I love the many colors they come in. They are thick so they protect against freezer burn. They close tightly so nothing gets in or out. Food stays fresh. They can be washed in the dishwasher and are thick enough to not fall over.

Too small for sandwiches, flawed design.
Although the cavity of the bag is indeed sandwich-sized, the aperture is not. It is very difficult, even with my small hands, to get a normal-sized sandwich in or out of the bag without it falling apart, so think twice before buying for this purpose. I have to wrap the sandwich in food paper to help keep it together, but this only adds bulk and, therefore, contributes to the struggle that ensues when trying to get the sandwich in or out of the bag. PLEASE REDESIGN.

I make lots of bite sized food to freeze for my small kids and these are perfect for freezing. Easy to close, thick enough to prevent freezer burn, and don't tear in the freezer. Just wish they cost a tiny bit less.

Sandwich Bag
I will not be using the sandwich bag for sandwiches, but rather for food preps to store in my freezer. I have been prepping meals using 2 cup and 4 cup plastic containers with lids. However, we are trying to eliminate as much plastic as possible. I ordered this one bag to check for size and it’s perfect. I was using 16 Oz and 32 Oz plastic containers. This sandwich bag comes in right between the two sizes at 28 ounces, so it’s perfect for stews and meat mixes for my husband and myself. I have now ordered 15 more of these sandwich bags and am preparing to order larger bags soon. The opening is pretty small, so I can see how it might be hard to slip a sandwich through the top, but for my food preps, I use a funnel anyway, so it is no problem. The bag can easily hold a sandwich, but for some reason the opening is smaller than the bag. I guess you could cut a sandwich in half and put the halves in the bag separately. The bag is nice and thick, but pliable, and seals very easily.
