I currently have the smaller French oven and am so excited to use this one! All of the Staub French ovens will give you the best cooking experience ever! First, the color is beautiful! The blue is a beautiful, even, deep shade. The finish on the pot is smooth and perfect and the lid design is delightful. The pot is the perfect size for a single person or couple and great for one-pot meals. The only thing I would rate lower is that the knob gets hot, but that's not enough to take away a star. Great product.

Had to have this new Lilly Lid Essential French Pan. Breathtaking, and perfect for every day use. The size is great for cooking as well as reheating. Works on all stove tops and oven safe as well. The cast iron enamel does not need seasoning and is great for even and direct heating. Oven to table ready, makes for easier clean up and lovely presentation.

The color and pattern on the lid really pops in the kitchen! I also love how the side was curvier than a normal pot to allow for an easier stir for soup or pasta dishes. Like all Staub products, it retains heat and liquid very well.

I have been a fan of Staub for a while. I love the enamel coating. It makes cooking in cast iron so much easier. There is no seasoning necessary. It is easier to clean because it can be soaked and be cleaned with soap. The matte texture allows for great searing, browning and easy release. This new rounder shape is great. Its easy to stir and combined with the chiseras on the underside of the lid evenly distributes moisture making great rice and grains. The nice lilly design on the outside is a nice bonus. It looks as nice sitting out on my stovetop or table.

I'm still learning this pot after being accustomed to a ceramic dutch oven. Heavier than I am used to. I like it; it retains heat well. It's easy to clean, but I have found that you need to give it a wipe down with a bit of oil to maintain the glossy interior finish. It is gorgeous! Love this design.

The same vessel as the french oven with a lily pattern on the outside of the lid. This has a rounded bottom to make asstirring spoon fit nicely, and the interior of the lid has curved chisterras to replicate the basting spikes on a typical staub cocotte.

I was looking to purchase a cast iron pot and once I saw this one with the beautiful detail on the lid of the fleur de lys. I love the dark blue color that is so classically French and the finish on pot is very shinny and vibrant. I love the self-basting nubs that are on the lid to make all my food moist and delicious.
