Kids love it and it's easy to assemble, well sort of. It doesn't come with pre drilled holes for the legs. If you don't have a power drill, then it can be a bit difficult to create the holes. Other than the holes, everything is easy to put together. Comes with unicorns and buckets which the kids love. Saw on social media that people get a water pump so there's continuous flow - good idea or else you'll have to keep pouring water on top for the kids especially if they're younger and can't reach.

I can only give this water table one star due to not being able to assemble it. When first opening it, I noticed the unicorns were missing along with screws and instructions for assembly. I contacted Step2 (it took several calls since I had put on hold a few times where I couldn't wait on the phone 15+ minute) and they asked which parts I was missing. I thought it was just the screws, the unicorn accessories, and the instructions. I was wrong. Apparently we are missing a leg to the table, which I didn't know since I don't have printed instructions. The rep emailed me a link to the online instructions, but that only loads halfway so the pictures are missing, rendering them useless. I will attempt to contact Step2 one more time for another missing part and printed instructions, but this has become ridiculous.

We think this rain shower toy came majorly defective. There were no starter holes for the screws to go into. The plastic was so thick we had to buy a drill to make starter holes for the screws to go into.

The pointed metal screws provided are self-tapping and will pierce the pliable plastic and form their own threads into product. Save time up front by using the correct size screwdriver type and head size to avoid wiggly screws during assembly. Align the screw top with the screwdriver and apply direct downward pressure or force onto screw by turning slowly with screwdriver. The screw will drive into the plastic and create a hole. This would be the same or true of driving screws into a wood board such as decking or a 2 by 4 without a hole. Think about hanging a picture on the wall of your home, if you put a new nail into an existing hole it would not have a strong hold. It is much better for you to create the hole yourself, so that every item is guaranteed complete alignment for the best and strongest results. If needed or preferred, you can use a small nail with a hammer and pound a nail into plastic a bit to create a starter hole and then take out install screw. A power screwdriver or rechargeable drill can also be used to aid installing screws but be cautious as we do not always recommend as driving screws in too far with too much torque can strip out the plastic and cause other damage. I cannot believe this. I am so disappointed. I wanted to assemble this for my daughters birthday tomorrow and here I am at 10:30 at night unboxing only to find that it’s nearly IMPOSSIBLE TO ASSEMBLE WITHOUT A POWER DRILL. What the heck Step 2? I can’t assemble this in time because we don’t own a drill and it’s impossible to attach the legs to the base with just a screwdriver because there’s no semblance of even an indentation for the screws. Unreal. So poorly designed. Shame on you Step 2.
