A: Thank you for your question about the Step2 Rain Showers Splash Pond Water Table! After the initial assembly, we do not recommend fully disassembling the water table for seasonal storage. The screws are designed to form their own threads in the plastic, and removing and reinserting them repeatedly can reduce how securely the parts hold together over time. For winter storage, we recommend: Draining and thoroughly drying the table to prevent water damage or mold. Storing it in a dry indoor area like a garage or basement if possible. If indoor storage isn’t available, covering it securely outdoors to protect it from snow and ice. This approach will help extend the life of your water table without risking loose connections from repeated disassembly.

Q: What are the leg dimensions? I have a tall child who will need this on a platform but want to build an appropriate and safe one to accommodate this water table.

A: Hello! You don't have to attach the legs until you are ready. You could use the water table without the legs. However, do not allow children to sit or stand in the water basin. You may also have to lift the table off the ground so that it drains properly. Regards, Step2 Consumer Service

My toddler loves it and has played with it every day this summer. High quality and sturdy pieces with plenty of room for imaginative play. My only wish is that the drain were in a corner of the lower basin rather than the center for easy drainage. The plastic is also slightly porous which makes deep cleaning tricky but we haven’t been keeping it covered. It has been a must-have for the heat!

The design can be definitely improved for the price. For example, the plug to drain the water is not at the lowest point so there will be always some water remaining in the table. Also, there is water leaking from the leg of the table all the time because of design flaw.

The box came open when delivered and missing pieces. The box after table itself is nice and we were still able to put together with the pieces that were missing. Happy with the water table, upset with the way we received this!
