Q: Why does the label info say this is 390 calories, but the photo shows 540 calories right on the box?
submitted by BrbK - 11 months ago
A: That's a great question! Each box is correct for the product that is inside, the newest packaging reflects 390 calories. Any other calorie information that is different, may be from an older packaging.

remove broccoli and add more fettuccini. there's practically no flavor and broccoli is just a catch all bad food choice to put in anything.

Thanks for letting us know you'd prefer the meal without the broccoli!

There were only two small chunks of a broccoli stem found in this dish. The dish takes ok but the quality has certainly gone downhill. The portion is smaller and the plastic container is very flimsy nearly causing it to spill onto me. I’m so disappointed after Stouffers products had been my go to in the past but will not buy again due to poor quality.

You should never expect only two pieces of broccoli in our meals. Our team would like to learn more and would appreciate it if you'd call or text us, M-F, 9a-6p ET at 1-800-225-1180. -Teresa

Watered down sauce reduced calories from 540 to 380

This used to be my favorite meal, but I cannot stomach their latest change. All the flavor is gone after they reduced the calorie count from 540 to 380. Now I am buying the fettichini only for 630 calories, because the taste is far better. So Stouffer's basically forced me to go from a balanced meal of 540 calories to a higher calorie meal with more fat, all because of taste.

Chicken was changed to blocks of tofu. And the alfredo sauce was changed to water. I will never take the chance of buying this again because it was so nasty in taste and appearance. There was even a small hair in the meal. I do really like your pepperoni pasta bowl though. Please never change that one!

Recent changes have ruined this entree

For years I've eaten this entree. It was a great mix of Alfredo sauce, fettuccine, broccoli, and chicken. But recently they added more chicken, and unfortunately it is inedible. The chicken is so dry I just throw it away now. And they decreased the amount of broccoli. I really need to eat vegetables, but I can't count on this meal anymore to provide them in any significant amount. The changes have resulted in an inferior product. I just eat it now for the noodles and the sauce.

TIME TO DUMP STOUFFERS

Feeling betrayed after just spending money I don't have on food I now can't stomach. Stouffer's WAS my go-to, and until they undo whatever they did to this dish and some of their others, I will never buy Stouffer's again. Another review I read, agree with 100%, and pasted below says everything I wanted to say. Now I know it's not just me.... "What did you do?? This dinner went from amazing to terrible! I have been eating Stouffers frozen dinners for 20+ years, as in spent 5 figures easy on thousands of Stouffers dinners over the years, and mostly this recipe. The chicken fettuccini alfredo was my top favorite and go to, even better than many restaurant versions. It was originally amazing, and I could eat it almost daily and enjoy it every time. A few years back the broccoli changed from great florets to chewy cuts/stems. Irritating, but I managed. A couple years ago you changed the sauce to be a bit more garlic flavored, a step down but still acceptable. Now with the latest batch I got (expiration Feb 2025), it is suddenly TERRIBLE. The "chicken" has become fake extra chewy tofu rubber with no flavor, and the sauce tastes like you dumped a bucket of garlic powder into it, just overpowering and unpleasant. I could barely eat it. The whole thing is ridiculously bad. Why?? This is so disappointing. Please change it back! I just bought out all my store's older stock to enjoy it while I can. I know cost inflation, etc., but why change the ingredients and recipe to presumably save a buck (or 10 cents) just to destroy the quality and lose your customers who buy it? Whoever market tested this newest version as acceptable lied to you guys. If your sales numbers are still up, it's only because many stores are still clearing old-recipe stock. Watch the numbers dive after this new recipe fills the shelves everywhere. I know I sure won't buy it again in this form."

They Ruined It

Had the chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo that used to be very good and now it's more like highly processed garbage like most others. The sauce is different, not too bad but the chicken is now cubes of frankenfood that is so processed I couldn't eat it. I had to pick the nasty stuff out and throw it away. Prices have nearly doubled over the last couple years while the quality has been reduced to frankenfood nastiness. One star not because it's the worst but because they took a good product for the price a couple years ago, raised the price and turned it into the typical highly processed garbage.

I have been eating this dish off and on for years. This is not as you claim white chicken. This is chicken parts processed and cut gristle and all, it's gross. The fact that you think people would accept. This is very insulting raise the price, but do it right.

Oh wow....what a change in this meal! And, it must be a relatively recent change because I have one of the past real chicken meals in the freezer also. Checked the old one; there was still REAL chicken in that one! The chunks are now bigger but it isn't real chicken!!!! And, as usual, the sauce is now VERY, VERY watery unless I take paper towels and sop up the water from the dinner before I put it back in to finish cooking for the last 2 minutes. I had discovered that if I did that, the sauce remained thick like it used to be when I 1st began enjoying the meal. I had gotten used to handling the sauce issue, BUT there is nothing that can be done about the HORRIBLE chicken issue. BRING BACK THE REAL CHICKEN!!!!! This used to be my favorite dinner and also my husbands. It would be our go to in a rush, about once a week. We won't ever purchase them again. As a matter-of-fact, we checked out the ones we had in the freezer and they contained the same Bigger Pieces of Rubbery Gray Looking Chicken so we decided to waste our money and throw them in the trash. What ever the chicken is made of it even gives the sause and ODD taste.

This was my "go to" meal to take to work for years. The sauce was creamy and flavorful, but ever since you changed to the white container it is horrible. The sauce is watery and bland and the chicken is a weird, rubbery texture now. It's so sad that you ruined this recipe.

I always loved this product until tonight. The chicken?was awful. I have a question mark because it didn't look or taste like chicken. The pieces were so much larger than before. I dug them out and didn't eat. The fettuccine, sauce and broccoli were good as always. I had just read that this entree dinner was one of Stouffer's best... why mess it up with a fake chicken product?
