    Stouffers Lasagna

    This lasagna makes an easy to prepare hearty meal full of delicious meat and cheese with tender noodles. Quality ingredients with a mouth watering aroma. I did not notice any excess salt flavor in this. Packaged to make it a quick and easy meal.

    Tastes home made.

    Have been eating this for years. The taste is delicious and real comfort food. We serve it with a salad and some good Italian bread. Tastes home made and fills the kitchen with the great smells of Italian cooking. It's always reasonably priced and a great value. My family loves it.

    Preparation instructions keep changing.. on the box says cook at 400 degrees tented, 20 uncovered, let stand 15.. still cool inside 110 degrees.. it's been awhile since I have purchased but I distinctly remember the cook time being longer than 90 minutes... and it used to come out just fine, maybe a crispy corner but not cold in the middle... back to R &D Stouffers...

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This lasagna is what I remember from my childhood. It had a good amount of sauce, real mozzarella cheese and plenty of beef throughout, the edges did get a little crispy even following tenting instructions from the box, and I wish it came with a little extra cheese to sprinkle in the bald spots. My main drawback from this product is that it comes in an aluminum tin, and I actively avoid aluminum in my daily life. (I’m extra concerned about the fact that this is an acidic tomato product touching aluminum). So I wish that it came in an oven safe cardboard tray (definitely not black plastic, that’s bad too). But overall this is a good value to feed a crowd. I received stuffers lasagna free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
