Q: How long does it take to cook in the oven a thawed lasagna?
submitted by Billie510 - 5 years ago
A: Hello! This product should be stored frozen and should be placed into the oven in a frozen state. We do not recommend thawing this lasagna.

This was the worst lasagna I've ever bought, two layers together with sauce slapped on it. Nothing else. I've bought this for many years and never experienced lasagna from this company like that. WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS COMPANY? WONT BUY AGAIN?

I bought the family size lasagna, I followed directions just like the box said. The quality of the ingredientes was great except that the layers of noodles were a bit hard to chew though. Like if they were undercooked.

I purchased the larger single serving. I hate that you cut up pepperoni and add sausage to call it meat sauce. There is nothing but cheese on top no ricotta in it at all. How is this anything close to lasagna! I wish there were an all cheese offering. I won't be buying this again!

What. Did. You. Do?! I LOVED Stouffer's lasagna! Now it's absolutely disgusting. Noodles are thin and chewy, sauce is watery and it doesn't cook thoroughly with the provided instructions. I am so sad! The thick noodles of the old recipe were so amazing! Whyyyyyyyy change the recipe?!

I've been eating the family size occasionally for about a year. It's gross now. The noodles are oddly chewy, the ricotta just disappeared, and the sauce is like a mix between tomato soup and ketchup.

For 30 years my favorite food in the world is this lasagna…. They've changed the noodles and ruined the best lasagna in America. So disappointing and saddening. I even had a lasagna as my birthday cake one year… now I'll never taste that perfect lasagna taste again. Heart broken.

This lasagna doesn't cook like it used to. The cheese on top doesn't melt. I know it's not just my oven as other reviews have shown as well as I've cooked this at my brother's in his oven too. The taste is different. It's almost a chemical taste and I had to throw my last 2 I made away. I am not sure what you guys did but bring back the lasagna we all know and love!!

We've been purchasing the lasagna with meat and cheese for years. This new pasta texture is trash and the new sauce ratio is not great. The pasta has weird chewy texture. Will not be buying any longer.

Seems like they changed both the sauce and the meat. The sauce tastes like cheap tomato sauce now and the meat is not pure beef. Used to purchase for large gatherings and so disappointed we won’t be buyers anymore
Stouffer's Not as Good Anymore

Being older and having purchased Stouffer's frozen dinners for many years due to being something easy plus being fairly tasty, I have to say that this is not true anymore……. Evidently, Stouffer's must have changed their recipes for the Lasagna with Meat Sauce and Baked Ziti. The taste, consistency with noodles & sauce, and looks have changed for not so appealing. I thought it might have been a fluke because of the newer packaging, but having purchased a second time, no way is Stouffer's good anymore. Barely and sauce or cheese with the noodles being thicker and totally different texture. This is so sad because I really enjoyed their frozen meals in a pinch. Not anymore as I've lost trust with their current recipes……. :-(

For many years my family has enjoyed this family favorite. However, the last 2 that I have baked up have been thrown in the garbage. The lasagna noodles are tough and really strange texture. The sauce is bland with a strange flavor that isn't the taste of lasagna. I won't be purchasing this ever again.,
So yummy!

My picky-eater kids will eat this any day and ask for it weekly. For a family of 4, we get the party size to have some leftovers. Make sure you follow the correct instructions for thawed vs frozen and the type of oven. If I follow the correct instructions, it tastes great!

"Large Size" for a 5 year old perhaps - barely enough to feed to adults though. Despite following the cooking instructions - the stuff failed to cook through BUT DID BURN nicely ontop and around the edges and THAT was before the "cook for a further 5 minute after removing the film". The edges and top was burnt and the cheese was chewy (at best) in other words - not cooked. Your Mac and Cheese is decent BUT this lasagna stuff is a 100% waste of money - not even my feral cats would eat the stuff.
