Q: How long does it take to cook in the oven a thawed lasagna?
submitted by Billie510 - 5 years ago
A: Hello! This product should be stored frozen and should be placed into the oven in a frozen state. We do not recommend thawing this lasagna.

Guests are saying
The lasagna has undergone significant changes that have disappointed many guests who once enjoyed its classic flavor and texture. While some guests still appreciate its convenience and quick preparation, numerous reviews highlight issues such as excessive sauce, lack of meat, and altered taste. Guests miss the original recipe, particularly the cheese and meat balance, and express frustration over the new formulation. Overall, it remains a quick meal option, but many feel it no longer meets their expectations.

We've been purchasing the lasagna with meat and cheese for years. This new pasta texture is trash and the new sauce ratio is not great. The pasta has weird chewy texture. Will not be buying any longer.
Terrible new recipe

Seems like they changed both the sauce and the meat. The sauce tastes like cheap tomato sauce now and the meat is not pure beef. Used to purchase for large gatherings and so disappointed we won’t be buyers anymore
Stouffer's Not as Good Anymore

Being older and having purchased Stouffer's frozen dinners for many years due to being something easy plus being fairly tasty, I have to say that this is not true anymore……. Evidently, Stouffer's must have changed their recipes for the Lasagna with Meat Sauce and Baked Ziti. The taste, consistency with noodles & sauce, and looks have changed for not so appealing. I thought it might have been a fluke because of the newer packaging, but having purchased a second time, no way is Stouffer's good anymore. Barely and sauce or cheese with the noodles being thicker and totally different texture. This is so sad because I really enjoyed their frozen meals in a pinch. Not anymore as I've lost trust with their current recipes……. :-(
So yummy!

My picky-eater kids will eat this any day and ask for it weekly. For a family of 4, we get the party size to have some leftovers. Make sure you follow the correct instructions for thawed vs frozen and the type of oven. If I follow the correct instructions, it tastes great!

We have enjoyed this staple for years, and this last one was made with a diffferent noodle that was so tough and hard to eat. had to use a sharp knife to cut. my whole family was dissapointed.

"Large Size" for a 5 year old perhaps - barely enough to feed to adults though. Despite following the cooking instructions - the stuff failed to cook through BUT DID BURN nicely ontop and around the edges and THAT was before the "cook for a further 5 minute after removing the film". The edges and top was burnt and the cheese was chewy (at best) in other words - not cooked. Your Mac and Cheese is decent BUT this lasagna stuff is a 100% waste of money - not even my feral cats would eat the stuff.
Not again!

I wanted Lasagna so so bad and I knew Stouffer's was a good brand name. I was very wrong! It's just completely gross and hard. I had to throw most of it away! Never again!!

This tastes nothing like lasagna. It lacks flavor. Also, I feel its very pricey. In our household we rarely throw out anything, but this we did throw away. Save your money, don't buy this. :(

You have changed the lasagna we are accustomed to. This last one purchased is garbage. I am bedridden and not able to cook and always enjoyed getting a party size that would feed us a couple of days.

I would give a zero if that was an option. Big fan of the original family sized lasagne for decades NOT a fan of the new and "improved" version. I previously had the classic at least once a month. I guess homemade is where it will be from now on. Way too much sauce (think of swimming in sauce) , scant cheese (I think it was cheese)? and meat?! What meat?! The noodles were extremely chewy. It also cooked weird…almost like it had that fake barely there fake cheese on it that does not melt or brown on top. Will not buy again.

I just bought a family size Stouffers Lasagna with meat and sauce. This is normally very good for frozen lasagna. I was disappointed with this one. It wasn't as tasty as previously purchased ones and it had no cheese at all.

We used to love this lasagna. Had enough cheese and meat for my love of cheese and my husband's love of meat. The last few we've got had no cheese at all and barely any meat. It is just sauce and noodles...very disappointed. The cooking directions are always off as well.

I got this lasagna because it was free at my supermarket. Worst lasagna I ever had! The ratios are off. Too much cheese and sauce, not enough meat. Not to mention that the lasagna folds in on itself. I'm not going to recommend this product to anyone ever.

I'm 70. For decades Stouffer's lasagna with meat and sauce was a favorite menu staple. I read some reviews stating it was garbage. I couldn't believe them. I thought they were preposterous. They are not. I just prepared what is apparently from of a new recipe. Compared with my old favorite this product is atrocious inedible garbage. After being a loyal customer for years I'll never buy another Stouffer's product again. Too bad. I'll miss the good products. Stouffer's lost this customer forever.
