Stouffer's Family Size Frozen Lasagna with Meat & Sauce - 38oz

Texture is rubbery and too salty barely any meat

The pepperoni one is off, and does not taste like traditional pepperoni. 5 of us on 2 occasions do not like it. But do not give up on stoffers lasagna. It is very good! The beef one is delicious. They are all good (minus te pepperoni one, and we all love pepperoni pizza, so this was a surprising disappointment). But definitely try the others.

I've bought these lasagnas over the years and the one I just cooked tonight was exactly the same texture, flavor and look as before. This was the party size 2x meat lasanga in the foil pan. I cooked it for 35 minutes at 400 without the lid as directed on the box. Then I inserted an oven-safe thermometer in the middle and added the tented foil lid on top. Since I was short on time, I cooked it on convection at 375 for 45 minutes. It registered above 170+ when I took it out and I probably could've done 5 minutes less time as it was a little dark in spots on top. I let it sit at least 15 minutes while I prepped everything else and it cut just fine at the table. We all enjoyed it and look forward to leftovers. I really don't know how others are having such problems.

They got rid of the cottage cheese and changed the recipe what seems like entirely. Pasta is rubbery. Stovers lasagnas nothing like it used to be. Stay away.

I have been enjoying these lasagnas for a number of years but things have changed. While cooking one of these entrees, the house was filled with the pungent aroma of bandaids. Pulling the lasagna from the microwave, I was disappointed to see the sad appearance of the product. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that not only did it smell like bandaids but it tasted like them too. This product was extremely disappointing, especially when compared to the quality of the past. In addition to the poor flavor, there used to be much more to these. This product sat much lower in the tray and had considerably less volume. Really a huge disappointment. I would avoid these in the future if I were you.

Terrible! The meat sauce wasn't up to par. There is little meat and cheese. Very runny! This can no longer serve as a substitute for a homemade lasagna. In the past, it could be counted on to serve as a comfort food to a grieving family. No more!

We've bought STOUFFER lasagna Italiano for several years and always really like it until tonight. It was very disappointing. I'm thinking you changed your recipe in order to cut back on your cost. Sauce seemed more diluted, not as many spices, etc. Very bland tasting. If this is how you're going to continue to make your lasagna we won't be purchasing it anymore. STOUFFER prices are higher than other brands, but because it was more flavorful, more sauce, and meat I would buy it. Sadly disappointed.

The best frozen lasagna

I COOKED THE LASAGNA AS DIRECTED BUT THE ONE AND A HALF NOODLES THAT WAS IN THERE WAS TOUGH. WAS THERE NOT ENOUGH NOODLES? THIS WAS NOT A LAYERED LASAGNA. MAYBE I'LL TRY THIS AGAIN, MAYBE.

I have bought the family size for years. Recently though, I cant get it to cook. I follow the directions as always and its still cold after an hour in the oven on the proper temp setting. At first I just thought it was a bad batch, but after multiple times and I tried switching types of cookie sheets to place it on and without one at all. Not sure what changed but will be looking for another brand moving forward.

I followed the directions and this is what happened. It was a plastic melting mess. I was afraid to eat it, so it got tossed. I will never buy this again. Completely disgusting. This is what happened after only 30 minutes in the oven. Glad I chucked on it, so I didn't have a mess with further baking.

This lasagna used to be great. We buy the family size and follow the cooking directions - 375 for 65 mins, let stand for five mins. The middle temperature was only 145. The noodles at one end were not covered in sauce so they were dry and brittle. This has been a consistent for the last few we have cooked.

I was so disappointed when we made it today. the noodles were hard and had to be cut with knife and still could not chew them. had to throw the whole thing out. it was horrible. never had this problem with stouffers before.

Love the lasagna with meat and sauce. Amazing, tastes amazing. Wish it was cheaper so I could buy more ofmit though. Have to reserve it for treat night only.

This lasagna consisted of two sheets of pasta in a spicy sauce. No cheese in evidence. Meat was chopped up so small it was practically non existent. I threw it out after attempting to eat it. I will not buy again. I settled for a pnut butter sandwich.

I've been craving lasagna for a while now, so I finally splurged this weekend and got a 5-serving sized so I'd have leftovers for the week. I don't usually buy Stouffer's, primarily because of the price, but it said 2x the meat, Garfield endorsed it, and it was on sale. Big mistake. I really wish I had seen the reviews here before I bought it, yet the only reason I did was because I came here looking for convection oven cooking instructions, and just like with the box, I didn't find any. I went ahead and decreased the temperature by 25F and the time by 25%, not that it helped the taste. I find it ironic that a lot of people complained about there not being enough sauce - had there been another cup or so in mine, I could have called it lasagna soup. Like the others, I didn't get anything close to 2x the meat, in fact, there was less meat and cheese than the "cheap" single serve lasagnas out there. My noodles weren't dried out, but they were very chewy and stuck together. The worst part was that any flavor it had was masked by an outrageous amount of salt. Even the tomato in the sauce was hard to taste! The whole thing was literally a hot and sloppy mess. Needless to say, even though I hate the idea of wasting 10% of my weekly grocery budget on it, I'm throwing the rest out because it's inedible.

This is a great quick meal. I buy the single-serving lasagna, it's quick and easy and tastes great.

My family loved Stouffer's Lasagna, But the pan I just took out of the box has very little sauce.Most of the noodles aren't even covered! It's going to be a mess of hard noodles. Very, Very Disappointed!

They must have forgottten the meat in mine. It's also discusting and I love lasagna. Bought for family meal and... never again!!!
