Strider Classic 12" Kids' Balance Bike

2 years ago when we introduced this to our son, he wasn't excited at all about it. in fact he cried and cried and cried about how he didn't want it. fast forward to today we can't keep him off it. he went from "walking" it while standing over the seat holding the handlebars. then all of a sudden he sat down and took off! now he goes 100 mph getting smiles from everyone as he bikes along! love this so much!

Our son is 2 years old and in the 70th percentile for height, yet even with the seat on the lowest setting, his feet only just reach the ground. He struggles to sit fully down on the seat while peddling with his feet. He has to move his body forward off the seat to peddle more easily. Those aren't even our biggest complaints. Our biggest complaint is the bolts that stick out on the sides of the bike (see photo). Talk about dangerous and painful!!! It's gotten to the point where my very fearless son (who can literally fall several feet, scrape his head and knees open and still say, "Ow! Okay, I go play again…") doesn't trust this balance bike and hates staying on it longer than a few seconds. I am sure it's because he is done getting those huge bolts jammed into his body. The designer on this is either childless and/or careless, and I struggle to understand all these rave reviews.

Picked it up on Christmas Eve and daughter was able to walk and hold the handle bars and it was simple to assemble and looks like a higher end kids bike does for a great price

Here I am on Christmas Eve putting together a bike that is suppose to take 5 minutes. Of course I’m missing 2 very important pieces for the back tire. Extremely disappointed that my toddler will not have this Christmas morning.

My son loves his new yellow Strider 12 Sport bike! It was easy to assemble and easy for my son to learn how to ride it. Now he comes home every day asking if he can get his yellow helmet and yellow bike. He's only been riding for a few weeks, but is already getting faster and coasting longer. Thanks for an amazing product!

I wish there was some way to keep the seat and wheel straight when adjusting the height. It lets you turn them leading to a misaligned wheel or seat.

We had a strider for my son. He seriously rode the wheels off of it. It was the perfect bike to learn on. Now he has a STACYC. Hoping that those will be the stepping stone to the dirt bike. This purchase was my daughter’s first strider. Can’t wait for her to learn on it. Definitely worth every cent!

Got our grandson a balance bike for his 2nd birthday

Bike tires aren't even real tires. Would not recommend purchasing this balance bike. The company needs to use real tires instead of cheaply made plastic tires. Body of the bike was great---fix the tires. Love the idea of the base for little ones.

There is no way this is for someone 3-5. I will return ASAP

Best balance bike! So light and easy to assemble!

We bought strider balance bikes for all 4 of our boys. Every 2nd birthday our boys got to choose their color. Our youngest is now 3 and he has the blue sport edition. He has rode it 2-3 times daily and it's his favorite thing ever! During the pandemic our family has rode bikes and took walks 2x as much as we did daily! The Strider sport is simply amazing quality and so easy for kids to use. Last week unfortunately someone stole our blue one and left our youngest son super sad. We will have to for sure get another bike ASAP as it's his favorite. We love strider bikes so much we tell all our friends about them! Even the preschool that our boys have all went to, have multiple Strider bikes! If you're looking for something durable, well made and loved by kids, Strider is the best choice!

Was so excited about this bike, but the piece to attach the handlebar does not fit and couldn’t have the bike assembled for my daughters birthday.
