Q: What is the weight limit on this? My son is going to be 2 years old soon so I don't know how much use he'd get from the base but I'd like to try. We already have the bike.

I have the Harley Pink one it was a limited edition that Tucker Power Sports sold. I was a Sells rep for Tucker. So, I bought & sold my share of Strider Bikes. The one I have I bought for my niece. She is now 10 & there is a new niece in the family. The 10 year old wants to give it to her cousin. She named the little bike Honey 10 years ago. It's in great shape. I'm currently buying the rocker base so she can start a little earlier.

I bought an older bike and Shea at customer servixe helped diagnose the problem and the correct part to get the base hooked onto the bike. I am impressed by their service and would highly recommend if choosing between brands.

My 18month old loves this base and bike. Unfortunately, the clips that hold the rear of the bike broke on both sides. Sad I can't find replacement pieces.

I purchased the Strider Rocking Base as a gift for my Granddaughter. She is 6 months old and her parents are avid mountain bikers in Colorado and are members of the Colorowdies Mountain Bike Crew. Her parents purchased a Strider Sport bike for her and she has been "riding" it with help from her parents. With the rocking base, she can hold on to the handle bars of her bike and, with close observation from her parents, has already been rocking her bike by herself. The base is plastic, is solidly made and provides a stable rocking platform for the bike. It took only a short time for my son to assemble the rocker base and attach my granddaughter's Strider bike to it. Based on my Granddaughter's expression, she is loving it.
