2 years ago when we introduced this to our son, he wasn't excited at all about it. in fact he cried and cried and cried about how he didn't want it. fast forward to today we can't keep him off it. he went from "walking" it while standing over the seat holding the handlebars. then all of a sudden he sat down and took off! now he goes 100 mph getting smiles from everyone as he bikes along! love this so much!

We’ve bought 2 of these over the years and they are so amazing to help kiddos learn balance. They ride them inside and outside every day. Our 4 year old was able to pick up riding a pedal bike with in 10 minutes after using her strider bike for the previous 1 1/2 years.

Hard plastic tires - 1 year ago, Verified purchaser
This is a good little bike with adjustable handle bars and seat. The problem is, it has hard plastic tires so they are slippery and don't have good tread. The price is also high. I returned this bike and found one with good rubber tires for only five dollars more.

Our son is 2 years old and in the 70th percentile for height, yet even with the seat on the lowest setting, his feet only just reach the ground. He struggles to sit fully down on the seat while peddling with his feet. He has to move his body forward off the seat to peddle more easily. Those aren't even our biggest complaints. Our biggest complaint is the bolts that stick out on the sides of the bike (see photo). Talk about dangerous and painful!!! It's gotten to the point where my very fearless son (who can literally fall several feet, scrape his head and knees open and still say, "Ow! Okay, I go play again…") doesn't trust this balance bike and hates staying on it longer than a few seconds. I am sure it's because he is done getting those huge bolts jammed into his body. The designer on this is either childless and/or careless, and I struggle to understand all these rave reviews.

This is the third bike we have purchased from this company. I absolutely love them for our kids. They were in our opinion easy to assemble. I recommend going with the sport as it has a broader age range compared to the classic. Our sons have a different option but all of these bikes have held up well and taught our kids confidence when riding their bikes. Definitely worth the money!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its low profile helps get kids on wheels faster and scale as they grow. It's also super light so easier to maneuver and push around as they gain confidence behind the bars.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the bike as does our son, however the back tire did not seem to want to go on straight and the front forks did not seem true. It's an expensive bike for a toddler would be nice to see a little better quality for the money.

Had to have a 2nd Strider for our girls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second strider bike. The first was a gift for our oldest when she turned 2. Our second daughter assumed that strider when she turned 2 & our oldest got a pedal bike. Our second daughter just turned 4 & didn't want a pedal bike just yet so we got her a new strider & handed the original down to our 21-month old. After riding the strider for a few years, our oldest easily transitioned to a pedal bike without ever using training wheels. The strider is adjustable so they have been able to grow with our kids & then adjust right back to the beginning when the next is ready.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought a strider for our granddaughter. Our youngest raced the strider class at the age of 1.5 years old so we thought it was a no brainer. We are very happy with the bike. However, I ordered pink grips and the ones that came were for mini strider??? so obviously they don't fit. Otherwise very happy with the purchase.
