So far, so good

We bought this for my parents since they have solar panels, and snow builds up on them. After two snowstorms, it worked great to clear the snow off before it turned into an avalanche by the front door.
Wheels won't roll

The weight on the roof made the wheel treads catch on the rake and stop rolling. I had to remove the rollers and file out the slot to make it work. Disappointing.
Hard to assemble

I guess you get what you pay for. It took a lot of muscle to put the snow rake, front pole, and brackets together. You almost need two people. Once I got it connected, I hope it's easier to use on the roof than it was to assemble.
Works great, long reach

Pretty good rake. It's got a long reach, but it's heavy.
Works well

This rake is awesome. The handle bends a bit because it's so long, but it didn't affect how well it worked. It did a great job clearing snow off my porch roof.
Badly designed snow rake

The bolt holding the brace fell into the snow after just half the roof was done. I guess I'll find it when the snow melts in the spring.
Standard snow rake

Seems to work well for powdery snow. The handle could be curved more for roofs that aren't very steep, but overall, I'm happy with the sturdiness, length, and value. Definitely a good buy for the money!
Sharp edges get stuck on ice

The aluminum blade edges are sharp after being cut, which can damage asphalt shingles when dragged. They also get stuck on icy patches. It's pretty heavy and bends a lot. Definitely not the right product if you need it fully extended. I had to return it after one use.
Broke after an hour of use

Good for fresh snow, but the brackets bent after just 10 minutes, then broke after about an hour.

Just got it after a month of waiting, but it's missing a crucial part, the angled tube. Without it, I can't put it together. Useless.

Got it late and missing half the screws to assemble the shovel. Super disappointed.
This is the definition of failure

Major disappointment. I live in Wisconsin with roof peaks that aren't super steep, so I actually need a rake for heavy snow. My old plastic one worked fine, but it was a bit hard to pull. I upgraded to this one, which is made of tough ABS plastic and has rollers. Assembly was easy, and it came wrapped up safely. However, the rollers were a total fail. The metal notches aren't deep enough, so the rollers don't spin. It's like trying to move a paddle wheel stuck against metal. It looks like a bad design, and I'd recommend looking for something that actually works.
Sturdy, well-made roof rake

Haven't had our first snow yet, but we usually get plenty in the Midwest. Our current rake is flimsy, but this one has a solid metal blade and fits together easily. The assembly instructions were great, and the rake should help with reaching areas on our one-story roof. I'm looking forward to using it.
Wheels don't spin!

The wheels don't spin because the cutouts for them aren't far enough from the lower edge. They hit the upper edge of the cutout, which is poor design or manufacturing. The edges are sharp, so I had to sand them down.
Decent, but the wheels could be better

I was excited to try this, but the wheels became a problem when the snow got heavy and wet. On powdery snow, it worked great. The pole is super long, even I can reach, but I gave it to my husband to use. I think bigger, thicker wheels would've been better.
Long, all-metal design should work well

This rake has great reach,21' is long enough for my one-story roof. The all-metal construction feels sturdy, and the blade doesn't seem like it'll break easily. I haven't had a big snowstorm yet to really test it, but it seems durable and should help prevent ice dams.
Poor wheel design

I have a beefier roof shovel, but it's heavy and doesn't have wheels. This rake is lighter and has wheels, which seemed perfect. But the wheels are too small and add drag, which makes using it harder. The long rake is great, but the wheels are a disappointment.
Lightweight but sturdy, save the box for assembly!

Don't throw away the box! The assembly instructions are printed on the inside. I had trouble figuring it out, but eventually got it together. The rollers were tough to put on, but reading the directions helped. The pole didn't fit well into the rake piece, so that's why I took off one star. Otherwise, it works well.
Works for leaves too!

We don't get much snow in Tulsa, but when we do, it's heavy. This rake works just as well on leaves as it does on snow. I can reach high up on the roof without needing to climb. No need to get on the roof anymore!
Went cheap, should've spent more

The brackets bent and one broke within two hours, but the snow was heavy. Who needs to rake light, fluffy snow? Should've gotten a sturdier one.
