This is the second one I bought a my kids broke the first, but I had to replace it. We live in NY and it's great for the heavy snow or when we get a lot. It takes very little time to clean my car. I have not used the lights as I haven't needed them yet. I like how this model twists to extend as my last one you had to assemble each time.

Honestly, if you are short and drive a big vehicle this thing is a must. Let’s be clear, there is nothing complicated about this item, you don’t need a long paragraph talking about the comfort of the handle and sky blue foam color. It works. It allows me to clear the snow off my truck without being a spider monkey climbing all over the darn thing. Worth the money.

This is by far the best thing to keep in your car if you live in snowy areas. My one qualm is the handle often unscrews from the foam piece that pushes the snow off the car and the extender often collapses while pushing snow. Otherwise, it’s gentle on the car but sturdy enough to push feet of snow off the car. The light feature is nice but I never needed it.

Purchased Snow Joe to replace older snow broom with solid wood handle, which doesn't telescope nor can the foam head be removed. I need a snow broom to reach the top of my SUV, and the Snow Joe's telescoping feature makes it easy to reach the entire vehicle. I also like the fact that I can clean the car without scratching any paint. The Snow Joe is an upgraded model that can collapse to fit in the car. Very pleased with purchase.

I was giving my truck a mohawk because I couldnt reach the snow from either side. Well this is a soft durable material that allows me to oush and pull the snow in any direction... I usually leave it extended because I have a hard time getting it to extend and go back in agan. other than that its an amazing item for any vehicle.

These things are every nice for plowing lots of snow off your windshield, roof, hood, and tonneau cover. Beats the heck out of using a brush to try to sweep piles of snow off (what a pain). This plow is very lightweight, yet sturdy enough for its job, and the telescoping handle is quite nice to extend your reach easily. The lights are a nice touch as well. One drawback, if you have a lot of heavy wet or crispy icy snow, it can be rough on the foam. Use good judgment if using in heavy wet snow. Best in powder of course, but of you live where I live powder is a rare treat because it's easy to remove. Thankfully it has a nice scraper on the end for when you need it. Happy with this, considering buying a second.

LIFE. CHANGING. I used to be a sweaty bafoon, struggling to clean off my car and ending up sad, cold and tired after 30 minutes of feeble attempts. One day my neighbor saw me and came over with some kind of snow squeegee and just pushed off a pile of snow I had been struggling with. I immediately looked up snow squeegees after and came across the snow joe. Now I clean my car off in 5 minutes! It's so amazing I tell everyone about it! They all seem to already know about snow squeegees and no one told me but I'm here to tell you! Such an amazing time saver.

This is the second . I’ve purchased. And only did so because my first one just simply wore out after SIX YEARS!! The telescopic handle just gave out and wouldn’t stay long any more. Since I have a Honda Odyssey and I’m 5’1” I need it to telescope. So, now it’s in my husbands car :grin:.One other great thing about this is is will not scratch your paint!!! This is a must-have for anyone who has an SUV or a mini van and is shorter than 5’10”. And you can count on it lasting for years.

For the price I was not really expecting all that much. This is replacing a snow brush that got run over and I needed to get something on the way asap. I've got 6" of wet snow falling as I write this and I just used for the first time, and man what a time saver. it completely removes snow from the surface and hopefully this won't be as scratchy as the brush. Lightweight, but should last a while until user error occurs and I break it, but this is worth buying for sure

This works good it’s sturdy And a bit taller than most other snow brooms! I mean the blade itself is taller than some of the others it extends out really far and seems to be pretty sturdy what would be nice is if they put one of those rubber handles on the other end closer to the blade so you can twist it they put two rubber handles just on the lower part so you can grab it because once your hands are wet from the snow it slides When you try to twist it to extend it or bring it back in.

This thing is awesome. Forget snow brushes, this is so much better. I live in a place that regularly gets 1 foot+ of snow in a night. A brush does nothing for that. This gets it all with very low effort. I just now used this to remove about 18 inches of snow from my car and it only took a few minutes. The ice scraper on it doesn’t work great so I just have a separate scraper, but no big deal, still absolutely worth buying for the snow remover. I’m recommending this to everyone I know because it’s so great and helpful. Would buy it again in a second

I'm in Cincinnati and we just got hit with a major ice/sleet/snow storm last Thursday that lasted into the night. On Friday morning, everyone was out trying to dig their cars out of the ice and snow. I got my Snow Joe out for the 1st time and it was great. I got my car cleaned in no time and I didn't get any of the ice/snow on me for a change. My neighbors were amazed and jealous so I passed it around to my neighbors and they got their cars cleaned in no time. I'm sure a few of them will be ordering this over the weekend.

Seems like it will work well. Foam head much larger than expected. Handle does extend but doesn't lock easily and stay extended. Just hope it does the job, I'm too short to be messing around need something that's easy to use.

I was able to get it in a day before the Texas disaster. I ordered it long before because my old Ice scraper broke, and I wanted a new one anyways. Thank god I had it because yesterday I had to take off 8 inches of snow off of my car and I got my car clean of snow in about 5 minutes. It was quick and easy to use. I was also able to use it to shovel snow away from my wheels so I can drive my little sedan home from work. it would've been nice to have a brush on the end where the scraper was so I can get the straggler snow away from my windshield wiper area, but I'll just keep a snow brush in the car for that. Highly suggest anyone who deals with snow to get one. It's amazing, especially after what we just dealt with in Texas 2021.

I've had this sugift about 2 weeks and it has snowed 5 times in that period. I bought a Traverse this summer and I am 4'11" and when winter rolled around it occured to me, winter might be a little tough because lots of spots on the SUV I couldn't reach to properly clean off. This product was suggested to me and so far I am thrilled with the purchase. I put batteries in it for the 2 headlights and they are suprisingly bright. It telescopes to a good length for me to clean my windshield and roof as well as back window and tops of my doors. The scraper on the opposite end is sturdy. I am wondering how the foam head is going to hold up especially if you have snow that has a thick layer of ice under it or really wet snow that all freezes and I will probably update this review as I use the product a bit more and see how it holds up. So far, great investment.

I used the brush end of my scraper before cause I seldom had to clear snow off my car, but over time that could scratch your finish. last winter we had quite a bit more snow than usual and clearing the car off was a bit of a pain cause of being careful to not scratch anything... next year I'm prepared and clearing the car should be easier and I don't have to worry about scratching. the head is made of a dense foam type material kinda like a Styrofoam cooler is made of so over time it may get dented up or disintegrate if not properly taken care of. You wouldn't want to use this on anything but a smooth surface like a car's finish. I took one star for durability since you do have to take a little care with it. the size of the head seems appropriate for removal of a few inches of snow off of a vehicle and the telescoping handle should make it easier to deposit the snow on the passenger side.

Living in Northern Pennsylvania we get snow and ice. Not tons like in higher elevations but enough. I had cancer a couple times and my lungs are shot so cleaning my car off is always difficult. This snow pusher/scraper is wonderful. I require less effort to remove more snow than is capable with a "standard" scraper/brush. I couldn't attest to someone who is elderly or handicapped but I would think this tool would be a great help to them. The light is however in my opinion useless. It says it is telescopic but I cant get mine to extend. Im not that weak but holy geez I can't figure it out. The instructions say to twist and extend but nope. It is super light. Again, probably even light enough for an elderly person. I think the description says 1.5 lbs. Thats little more than a pack of Kraft Singles. It is sturdy as heck. The head twists onto the handle and seems to be tight even after a whole winter of use. I like being able to snap the pole onto the base too. I can slide it behind my drivers seat. It is a sturdy well designed tool and is something I will always have in my car and as indispensable as my tire jack.

I have purchased a few products from Sun/Snow Joe over the years and have always been very satisfied with every product. They have all offered good quality and dependable service at very competitive pricing. This snow broom is no exception and falls right into this category. I’m not the tallest guy around and always have a hard time clearing snow off the roof of my van. Checked out YouTube to see if there was anything that might help and this broom was featured in a few videos. Looked good so I switched to Amazon and there it was, two days later I had it in my hands just in time for 8”s of heavy wet snow that hit my area. The broom worked great, the extendable handle helped me reach across the vans roof and clear it with no problems. Here’s the best part, the broom arrived damaged in shipping. The clips that hold the handle to the body for storage were broken. I called Snow Joe and spoke to a very courteous and helpful representative who sent out a no charge replacement to me that same day. Great products, great prices, great service, that’s Sun/Snow Joe! I recommend their products and company.
